It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anthony Lee Doud, age 49, on January 18, 2025. Born on January 20, 1975, Anthony was a loving father and cherished partner whose life touched everyone around him.
Anthony's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his two beloved children, Addison and Avalyn Doud, and his stepson, Frankie Giacomarra. He also leaves behind his beloved partner in life, Shannon Ettaro, whose love and companionship meant the world to him. Anthony was the son of Tom Doud and he is also survived by his stepmother, Lynda Doud, as well as his two sisters, Brandy Hendricks and Sara Mocniak.
In addition to his deep devotion to his family, Anthony was known for his passion for vintage Volkswagens. His love for these classic cars was more than just a hobby—it was a bond that brought him close to a tight-knit group of brothers in the VW community, where he was admired for both his knowledge and his generous spirit.
Anthony will be remembered not only for his warm and kind heart but also for the way he lived his life with total integrity, humor, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the many lives he touched through his passions and his loyalty.
A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held at Tree Tops Park, Satin Leaf Shelter, on February 9, 2025 from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Broward Trust for Historic Preservation; https://browardtrust.org/historic-properties/.
Rest in peace, Anthony. You will be dearly missed.
