It is as if a large diamond were to be found inside each person.

So many memories of Uncle Tort and the special times we all spent together.  I will forever remember his wonderful laugh that lit up the room and set the tone for every event at your house or Sandy Toes.  His love for family was always evident and shows  through all of you. We met Anthony's dad and mom at a party hosted by Kelly and Anthony. Both my husband and I noticed the strong family bond and love for one another.Our prayers are with the Olga and all the family members at this difficult time.

We know Mr. Tortoriello's son Anthony and wife Kelly and have always been inspired by the love and respect they have shared with us about this wonderful man. My memories of Uncle Tort make me smile. I remember the sound of the the ringing of the ice cream truck that brought all us kids running to him. The wild ride through New York City with Uncle Tort showing off his taxi driving skills. The way way he looked at my Aunt Olga, with the same loving eyes as when she was his new bride. How much he loved his desserts. Most of all his kind, loving gentle ways. You are with my mom and dad in heaven. Love you so much my Uncle Tort. Nana

We all lost a very special person this past week. Tort truly was a kind and genuine person. Our families have had so many memories together over the 42 years that we were blessed to have known him.  I can close my eyes and hear his laugh or see him dancing across a dance floor at so many events our families had together. 

Tort,  I want to thank you for being such a dear friend to my family. You have set the bar for all husbands and fathers...Tort rest in peace and please watch over all of us.

Anthony - So sorry to hear of your loss.  Warm thoughts and prayers are being sent to you and your family from your extended family here in Wisconsin.  We'll give you hugs in person in the Spring.

My Dad was such a kind loving man. When God made him he broke the mold. I'll always remember the things he tough me but most important the strong love and bond he had for each of us. Mom and Dad were happily married for over 60 years, you can't say that about a lot of couples.

God has taken you away from us and you now have the title you always deserved  "ANGEL"

Dad will be missed by all. He was a true Dallas fan when the Cowboy's were playing he could be found watching the game. He was quite and didn't like to talk on the phone. He Loved Mom, us kids, his one any only grandson Eddie and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Patches was really his puppy.

The great stories, times watching sporting events, and countless family gatherings will have dad in my heart and mind every day of my life. I never heard him say a bad thing about anyone, or remember him raising his voice.  He and mom worked so hard to provide us everything we needed, and I could not think of better role models.  Dad set a great example for me to live my life, and if we had more people like him in the world it would certainly be a better place.
