Barry D. Small, age 70, of Plantation, Florida passed away peacefully at Broward Health Hospital on March 27, 2019. Barry, for over 20+ years, lived with an Autoimmune disorder called Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome. He was able to live with this disease and defy all odds because he was taking a wholefood supplment called Juice Plus+.
Barry Small was born on April 19th, 1948, in Queens, N.Y. He is now with his parents, Joseph and Suki Small and his dog, Tasha. He was a devoted family man, a successful businessperson and public speaker. Barry loved traveling and speaking throughout the U.S. and Europe. People were inspired by him. Barry had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. His family paid this tribute to him, ‘Barry was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, he opened his heart and his home to many and he will be sorely missed.’
He is survived by his loving wife, Elisabeth Ann; sons, Theodore and Anthony; daughter, Stacy; sister, Roberta; and several relatives throughout the country. He loved his wife and kids deeply.
His funeral service will be held this Friday, April 5th, from 5 pm - 9 pm at Forest Lawn South Funeral Home, 2401 Davie Rd., Davie, FL, 33317, tel: 954-792-9360.
The Chapel service will be held at the Forest Lawn Pyramid. Friends, neighbors and others are invited to attend, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and chat.
