Betti Lucille Ward

Ward, Betti L., 81, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 26th; she fought a long battle with cancer. Born in Antwerp, N.Y., she graduated from Brownville Glen Park High School in 1948. In 1950, she came to South Florida where she met Fred Ward, and in 1957 they married. They were married for 25 years and had three children who survive her; Fred Ward (Mona), Jacqueline Otto (Mark), and Alison Merra. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Bianca and Frank Merra; two sisters and two brothers, Corky Yelle (Carolyn), Doris McAdam (Bruce), Marylyn Roberts and Gary Yelle. In 1982 she married Daniel Neale and she was employed by Evangelism Explosion III International in Fort Lauderdale for 13 yrs. Betti is predeceased by a brother and sister, Joyce Varnedoe and Robert Yelle. Friends & Family are welcomed for a Memorial Visitation, Sunday, January 30th from 1pm to 2pm with a Service at 2pm at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 4061 N. Federal Hwy., Ft.
