Brandon Lee Leyva, lovingly known as "B" or "Leyva" was born on September 30, 1995 in Miami Beach, Florida. He passed away at the early age of 25, on November 1, 2020 doing what he loved most- riding his motorcycle.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Terri and Lee Leyva; aunts and uncles; cousins; friends; and his faithful companion, Scooby. He was truly the life of the party and a total goofball. Brandon would greet you with his signature 'what's up' and head tilt when he walked into the room. He loved to ride his motorcycle, enjoyed sports of all types like basketball, football and golf, and loved anything ocean related- fishing, boating, skim boarding and spending time on the beach. Brandon loved to travel, especially to NY to visit his family. His favorite color was red, just like the color of his motorcycle.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2020 with visitation from 4-8PM at the Shrine of Light Chapel in the pyramid building at Forest Lawn South Funeral Home, 2401 Davie Road, Davie, Florida 33317. A funeral service will begin at 6PM. The family requests that attendees wear Brandon's favorite color, red, Hawaiian themed attire or any sports related shirt like UM, Miami Heat or Patriots. We truly want to celebrate Brandon's life and highlight the things he loved and cherished the most.
The family would like to acknowledge, with deep appreciation, all of the calls, texts, emails, and outpour of love and support shown to them during their time of grief. If you are able to, please share your favorite photo and memory of Brandon in the 'add a memory' section below. These memories will be placed together for the family in a keepsake book.
Ride in paradise, Brandon. You are always in our hearts. You are always loved. Let your light shine and fly high!
