So here are the BWC Backrow Babes sending a singing get well card to another Babe. Look at Carolyn always up for ANYTHING. We miss her so.  
Not too soon after I joined BWC I fell in love with Carolyn- so much fun, quick-witted and also kind. Soon despite very different life trajectories, we discovered we both went to Orchard Park High School! We even had the same piano teacher! We were not in high school at the same time but every single day on the way to school, I walked past her family home on Clark Street. We shared so many similar memories of life in that little town in Western New York State cementing a heartfelt friendship.  Our weekly zoom cocktail parties during COVID got us through the isolation. Carolyn always showed up with cocktail in hand ready to entertain us with stories of her many adventures. We adored her. We miss her bright energy, wise counsel, her laughter and her friendship. I know she has carried all of her joy into her next adventure and is received in the love she deserves. Fly free, Friend. 

We will miss your beautiful smile and caring soul. You were such an asset to  Broward Women’s Chorus and your absence will be felt by all of us. God bless!

Bonnie Bolinger 

I am missing Carolyn terribly every Wednesday when we have our Broward Women's Chorus rehearsals because we sat next to each other in the back row of the Alto section.  She was a wonderful singer and a much better sight reader than am I  so now I feel quite alone without her by my side.           I'll remember her perfectly coordinated outfits, down to her earrings that matched in color and theme, whatever she was wearing.    She was a dear, dear friend who left us so terribly unexpectedly - may she rest in peace.

Carolyn was a classmate of mine at Elmira College in the 1960's and we stayed in touch all these years. Even in those college days, she was soon recognized as a class leader and she held a position of admiration and respect by her classmates and all who knew her.

She was able to recognize a problem and often to correct it. She also possessed joie de vivre and you could always know that-- in her company-- all would be well and good times were possible. She was also a supremely intelligent woman whose advice and counsel were very precious and whose ability to embrace all that life had to offer was extraordinary.

Like all those who knew her I shall miss her terribly and we can only hope that if there is, in fact, a better place to which we can go after this life we shall be able to be with her again one day. For now I am hoping that she is resting in peace together with those who went  
before her in a joyous reunion in the Paradise we all hope for.

Rest in Peace, dear friend, until we see each other again.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Barra's passing, she was a customer of ours for at least a decade, maybe more, she was a very nice lady.  May she rest in peace...
