Carrie Glover is survived by her sons. She was preceded in death by her father, Estes Germany; mother, Louisa Garnett Germany; and her sister, Theresa McCladdie Pollock.
Carrie Glover was born on August 18, 1955 in Appling, Georgia to the late Estes Germany and Louisa Garnett Germany. She graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School in 1973 with a diploma in General Education. She then accepted a position as a supply technician at Veterans Administration Hospital where she worked for more than twenty five years.
Carrie Glover was a great family woman and a loving grandmother. She married Bennie Glover in 1980 and the couple had two children together.
Carrie Glover was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in work and family for the majority of her life. She enjoyed vacations, parties and food sampling. Her friends and family will always remember her as a loving, humorous, caring and outspoken person.
A visitation for Carrie will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Second Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 4343 North West 17th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33142. A burial will occur Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.
