Zerbst, Charles A., 91, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, passed into eternal life on April 15, 2013. Born in Chicago, IL, he fought on Iwo Jima during WW II, moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1951 and owned the Gateway Motel. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Marcia, his brother, three sons, step-son (wife), two grandchildren, and extended family. Visitation will be on Friday, April 19th at the funeral home from 4-7pm. The funeral service will be at Christ Lutheran Church, 1955 E. Oakland Park Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale at 10:00am on Saturday, April 20th followed by interment at Lauderdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.
