I first met Chris when I interviewed him to work for me at the Houston Office of Lloyd's Register; I was first struck by his unwavering enthusiasm and energy qualities that shined to all who met him.

Chris taught me many things during our time working together, not least of which being how important it is to be positive and enjoy what you do and to live life well.

Chris was a friend and colleague who will be greatly missed by all; my deepest and most sincere condolences to Michael, Karen, Derek, Lauren and all of his family.

Chris was a great person.  I was his roomate in MST "A" school in Yorktown Va.  I often saw Chris when I was stationed in Houston shortly after school.  I am glad to have known him and I am sorry for his family's loss.

Chris' Coast Guard family will miss him deeply. He was a valued and important member of our team at the Port of Miami Field Office. We are shocked and saddened by this tragedy, and our hearts go out to his loved ones.

As many good times as we had in college one of the best ones is the USA vs. Mexico soccer game.  I still don’t know all the rules of the game but you better believe I have that USA jersey on every chance.  You were a great friend and more of an influence than you ever knew.  We’ll be raising the glasses to you for many years to come.

Christoper, I will never forget you. I will never forget kneeling beside you telling you that everything is ok and that you are not alone. I will never forget holding your hand and praying for you until the ambulance arrived. It’s crazy how someone that I never knew could change my life forever. Chris was a great friend! After college we didnt get to see eachother much but he was still an awesome person to know. I will miss him greatly!

Being new to the Miami Team Chris showed me around the office and always made time to help every co-worker no matter the task.  He was always making us laugh and smile at the little things in life.
