Dakota left our world at only 24 years old. She struggled with both mental and physical health issues most of her young life. But Dakota knew how to love. She loved people less fortunate than her and spent her free time helping provide meals to the homeless or volunteering at the animal shelter. Dakota loved her brothers and sisters (Michael, Charles, Nikolas, Eva and Angelica) much more than she loved herself. She had a heart for the elderly and could make them feel special with the gift of her attention. She lived fighting forces that tortured her mind that we will never understand. Dakota would want to be remembered for her pure heart that lived deep inside her. She could not always show that heart, but longed to be loved and accepted because she knew how much she loved and accepted others. Dakota is at peace. Dakota is home free.
It can be a great comfort to a grieving person or family to hear that others thought highly of their loved one, too. If you knew and admired Dakota, be sure to let the family know by writing a few words in the "Memory" section of her obituary on the Kraeer - Fairchild Funeral Home website. www.KraeerFairchild.com
