David G. Benjamin
August 31, 1963 – May 8, 2022

David George Benjamin age 58 of Plantation, Florida passed away peacefully on May 08, 2022 surrounded by his family. David is survived by his wife Lotus and children, Savannah, Daleini and Zarian; his loving siblings, Michael, Yasmine, Gilda and Selwyn. He was pre-deceased by his father Lloyd, mother Clem, and his sister Faye.
David was a beloved husband and father.
David was born on August 31, 1963 in Grenada, West Indies. He graduated from Queens College with a degree in Economics. He married Lotus in July 01, 2000 and they relocated from Queens, New York to Plantation, Florida where they raised their two children together.
David was a hardworking man, he made many sacrifices for his children. He went through many hardships but he was resilient and persevered through them. He was loving, generous, stubborn and very dedicated to his family and friends. David was a happy, light hearted and funny individual. Truly an irreplaceable soul! David’s children are his pride and joy. The legacy of his kind, loving and generous spirit will live on through them.
A memorial service for David will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317, followed by a reception from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
David will be dearly missed.
