Beloved husband of 27 years of Joseph C.

Swidas. Cherished friend of care-givers James B. Melnicoff and Ryan M. Hamor.

Dearest son of Domenic Sr. and Hazel Mazza

(nee Cogar), (both deceased).

Loving brother of David (Becky), Debra Bush (Dave), and Domenic II (Shelley).

Dearest nephew of Bertha Fulks (deceased)

and Cathaleen Coen.

Beloved brother-in law of Catherine E. Woodrum (Donnie).

Devoted Uncle of Christopher Swidas, Michael AKA Mickey, Kyle Bush, Alexandria Otero (Jordan), Meredith, Brian Bush, Alyssa and Domenic III and Alexis Swidas.

A decorated Desert Storm War Veteran, Dennis served honorably in the United States Navy 1984-1990 on the USS Semmes (DDG-18).

He also had a lengthy and distinguished career as an Executive Consultant culminating in global leadership roles at Siemens, Cerner and Oracle. His gentle spirit and faith in Christ, coupled with his passion for work and life made him someone who will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched.

Joseph C. Swidas will receive family, friends and neighbors at The Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 4:00PM-7:00PM. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at 10:00AM at Saint John The Baptist Catholic Church, 4549 Bayview Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. Entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S. State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
