Dennis and I became very close friends over the last few years.  He was a very kind and generous person and so genuine.  I loved Dennis, and am still shocked by his sudden passing.  My deepest condolences to the family.  May he Rest In Peace.

Dennis you will always be in my heart . You were always a caring and loyal friend . You were always there for me and helped me while training . We had a common love of the horses I use to love seeing you and your dad there . RIP gone to soon rest with your father . I was so happy to speak to you after your dad passed to hear about your life and you to see my little girl and share some special times with me . Prayer for your family ...

Dennis and I grew up together as next-door neighbors in Timberlake. Whether we were fishing everyday after school (Dennis was a great fisherman), playing tackle football in the back yard until someone got hurt, sneaking on to Cooper Colony more times than I'd like to admit, building a fort in the woods across the street, watching the Braves play the Mets or just hanging out, he was one of my closest friends. Even though I moved away a long time ago, I look back on those days as some of the best in my life. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Zarra, Danny and Donna. Rest In Peace, Dennis. Thanks for the great memories.

My deepest condolences, to the Zarra Family.  Dennis, you will be deeply missed.

I became friendly with Dennis over the past few years and while I didn't know any family members I wanted to give my deepest sympathy to all of his loved ones.  I just looked through all of the pictures of Dennis and felt so sad because it was clear that he had a family and many friends who loved him, and clearly had an incredible number of friends.  I was shocked because I had seen Dennis and then texted him the next week, got no response and then looked at Facebook to see the horrible news.  I have no idea what has happened; I pray that Dennis did not suffer in any way and that the family will someday recover from the shock to remember only the good times with such  a great and loving person

Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

When you didn't return my texts, something made me put your name in Google and this obituary came up. I am shocked and saddened by this.  Dennis, my friend, I will miss you and will cherish the friendship we have had over the last 9 years. I love you my friend.
