Dolores was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Patsy and Frances Augustine on August 5, 1939. She married Joseph D’Angelo on November 12, 1961, in New York. She graduated from secretarial school and worked as a secretary for McKenzie & Company for many years. She and Joseph moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1972 where she worked as an executive secretary for a cruise line. Years later, Dolores and Joseph ran a manufacturing company for Jack Rogers Sandals. She was involved in the Italian American Club in Hollywood, Florida where she held several positions on the board. She moved to Crystal River, Florida in February 2024.
Dolores is preceded in death by Joseph D’Angelo, Patsy Augustine, and Frances Augustine.
Dolores is survived by Denise and Geoffrey Leiter, Celeste and John Marler, and her granddaughters, Nicole and Megan.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. on Sunday, March 16th at Forest Lawn with the Jimmy Borno of Fisher Men Church officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
