Donald J. Banas passed on September 12, 2026, at the age of 78. At the time of his passing he was in the hearts and minds of those he loved the most.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from 4:00 - 7:00 at the KRAEER - FAIRCHILD FUNERAL HOME, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. Don's funeral service will commence on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 10:30 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Committal Services with Military Honors by the United States Army will take place in South Florida National Cemetery.
