Duran Tevon Cameron

Duran was born in Coral Springs, Florida on October 7,1998 to Desmond and Keron Cameron. Our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend was a young man who demonstrated love, comfort, and peace to all he encountered. At 6’7, Duran was quite literally and figuratively a peaceful giant with an infectious smile.

After graduating from JP Taravella High School where he served as the Student Body President in 2017, Duran attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Naples, Florida. Upon the completion of his time in Naples, Duran returned to Coral Springs and worked in various roles as a consultant intern and analyst hoping to begin a fulfilling career.

Duran is survived by his parents Desmond and Keron Cameron, his brothers, Dewayne and Desmond Jr, niece, Anastasia Cameron, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

At the tender age of 24, Duran impacted countless people in his lifetime and although his time with us has ended far sooner than we could have expected, we hope that all who knew Duran continues his legacy of bringing love, peace, and warm energy to this world.

A visitation for Duran will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.

The funeral service will occur on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 9:00am to 11:00 pm followed by a Committal Service from 11:00am – 11:30am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A life celebration will follow at 7961 NW 90th Ave. Tamarac, FL 33321.
