Robin and Family; Bruce and Family:
I was so sorry to hear about the lose of your Mother. She was a "Grand Lady". I know you will fond memories of her.
I remember the time that Aunt Eleanor, and Aunt Christine planned a Wilkinson Family Reunion at our house in Fort Collins. Mother was trying to figure out where to put everyone. She put Aunt Eleanor and Aunt Christine in Eric's old room. Uncle John and his family where downstairs. Looking back on it I think it was a blessing in disguise. Three or four years after that Dad had passed away, then Aunt Christine, and Uncle John. So needless to say Aunt Eleanor did live a long fulfilling life.
Our prayers and Sympathies are with you.

It was a privilege and distinguished high honor to be able to officiate the celebration of a life very well lived by Eleanor Wilkinson McCarl, This family is so well knitted together and there is no doubt in my mind that this closeness of family and friends is a bi product of the many wonderful years Gran Gran has been pouring in to her very own!

Thank you for letting me be a part of your celebration of Eleanor's life. I was moved by the stories and how she lived her life. I hope the pain of losing her here on earth is replaced by her awesome memories and the belief she will debate politics and see you again in heaven. It was beautiful to see the family work together to care for her late in life. We need more of that. Thanks again for letting me be a part of that.

I knew Eleanor as "Gran"..loved spending time talking with her about world events past and present, and especially politics! If I remember she loved reading the newspaper. I have such great memories of our time in Oregon....God Bless you Gran!!!

It's been several years, but my mother and I always enjoyed meeting with Eleanor and Robin for lunch.
She was a lovely lady with class and grace that loved her family. We both were lucky to have enjoyed her company.
How fortunate was she to have not only her own two wonderful children , but grands and great grands. She will remain in all of their hearts forever. Red and Jewell
