

Eli was a World War 11 Veteran and served in the United States Navy. He loved being in the Navy and without hesitation told everyone “serving in the armed forces makes you into a man “
He married Carole Kateby Seaga in 1961 and was married for 45 years when Carole passed away in 2007. He moved to Jamaica in 1962 where he lived for over 50 years and was a successful businessman.
In 1979 Eli moved his family to Florida where he became a real estate investor and continued working in this field until his passing.
Eli is survived by his daughter Mateel Saba Galy, his son in law Paul Galy, two grandchildren Kayla and Logan Galy and many nieces and nephews.
Eli was a loving husband, father, grandfather and family man. He enjoyed family gatherings, antique shopping, photography ,boxing and monitoring the stock market daily.
He will always be remembered as a kind and loving person that is always the life of the party.
Funeral for Eli is scheduled for Saturday February 6, 2021, 10am at Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens South, with a repast to follow in the Forrest Lawn Reception Room.
Fr. Alex Khoury will officiate the Orthodox funeral service to celebrate Eli’s life.
