Known to her friends as "Betty," she is survived by sons, Donald Greger of Plantation, FL and David Greger (Karen) of Canton, MI; two grandchildren, Lisa and Renee Greger; and brother, Howard Petter, Farmington Hills, MI.
Mother will be remembered for her quick smile whenever someone greeted her, an infectious laugh that warmed hearts, and an inner strength governed by the prayer she said every night:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
A kind, giving and thoughtful person, she will be greatly missed by family and friends. Her final resting place will be at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, MI. Dates for the services have not been determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
