Eugene was born in South Korea to Sakee Chun and Yeesoon Ko on July 5, 1923. He attended Seoul University where he studied Business. He was an entrepreneur creating a global import/export company which led him and his wife, Kimberly, to immigrate to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in 1968. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling, visiting over 15 countries. He was an active member of his church and was a founding member of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Miami.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Kimberly S. Chun, his children, Thomas H. Chun, June S. Chun and Lynn S. Chun, his daughter in law, In Kyoung Chun, his grandchildren Kevin Chun and Erin Chun and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm on Saturday, August 15th at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Miami - 9730 Stirling Road, Cooper City, FL 33024.
