He is survived by his 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Alvarez born in Oriente, Cuba emigrated to the United States in 1959. He could always be found with a tool in hand as he completed another home project. He loved taking his young grandchildren out fishing in Cape Coral. He was endlessly devoted to his family, and has left lasting memories filled with love, humor, and story telling for many years to come.
He will be sorely missed.
May the Lord welcome Evaristo Alvarez into his heavenly kingdom and loving arms for all of eternity.
A private service will be held, and Alvarez will be laid to rest at Bailey Memorial Cemetery.
