Gerry Korbas, aged 61 passed away in his home of Ft Lauderdale, Florida March 22. Gerry was born in Shelby, Ohio and is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Korbas, his mother, Virginia Walker-Korbas, sister Becky and brother Bob. Gerry is survived by his loving husband Thom Lauth of 8 years and partner for 21 years and fur child Harper. He is also survived by his sister Tina Korbas-Haney (Harry) and her two sons Paul (Amanda) and Bryan Haney.
Gerry worked for most of his career years within various prestigious retail brands. Serving people was at the cornerstone of all Gerry did. His smile, sharp sense of humor, and positive outlook to life will be very missed. Gerry's smile and those that knew him, he had a very unique and contagious sense of humor. He always had a comeback for anything.
Gerry will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with as well as those he worked with.
