

Gerald passed away peacefully with his daughters at his bedside at his residence in Hahira, Georgia at the age of 89. He celebrated his 89th birthday just days before Jesus called him home. On September 10, 2025, he had an official address change to his heavenly home. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Charlotte Radson. The family later moved to Hialeah, Florida so, after the Army, Gerald rejoined his family in Florida. He lived in Florida ever since and moved to Georgia in 2024. Gerald served his country in the US Army and Reserves. Gerald was active in his Catholic Faith serving as an altar boy as a child to a lecturer and usher in later life. He continued to follow his Catholic faith during his entire life. Gerald was an industrious man and always was working doing some kind of work. He expected the same of all around him. Gerald believed in education and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Nova University in Davie, Florida. Gerald had many careers including most recently he was a Wedding Officiant. He also was a licensed mortgage broker and real estate broker. Prior to those careers, he worked in Banking and Finance. Gerald was known to enjoy a good yard sale, flea market or to recycle someone’s trash into a new sellable treasure.
Gerald is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Charlotte Radson and his wife, Enma Elizabeth Radson. He is survived by his daughters; Rita (Jerry) Lopez, Renee Radson and Christina (Dale) Duskin. Grandchildren; Brittney Adkin and Daniel Adkin. Ten great grandchildren. Siblings Arlene (John) Marcusky, Edwin (Carol) Radson, Marion (Ellyn) Radson, Robert Radson and Darrell (Suzanne) Radson and multiple nieces and nephews. Services and Burial will occur at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South at 2401 Davie Road Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Family and friend visitation will take place on Monday September 22, 2025, from 4-8pm. Mass will be held at the Pyramid Chapel Tuesday September 23, 2025 at 11 am followed by graveside burial and prayer.
