Gerard Belot was born at L'hopital General, Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Lived on Ruelle Alerte, then at a very young age moved to Avenue Fouchard Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Phillipe Marc Belot and Resilia Nordelus Belot) on February 29th, 1940. He attended and graduated from Lycée Toussaint Louverture and College Wetsel Pierre Louis in Port -au Prince Haiti. In 1968 he migrated to Albertson Elmhurst and moved to Springfield Gardens and Jamaica in Queens, New York. He attended and graduated from Queens College before moving to North Miami Beach and Miramar, Florida. He worked for a prestigious firm in Manhattan, New York as a supervisor in the money marketing department. He continued his career at the Southeast Bank as an Investment Banking Manager in Miami, Florida. Once he retired, he worked with special needs individuals. He was also part of the Aureole Club with family and lifelong friends.
Gerard is preceded in death by his Mother, Father, and elder Brother
Gerard is survived by his wife, Poupette, Children: Homer, Judy, Marie Galise, Fanchon, and step-children Vikaila, Giovani, and Taonaya. His Siblings: Raymonde and Marc Roger. Grand Children: Marclyne, Adrian, Anthony, Alijah, Jolie, Chrissy, Jaden, Astrid, Noah, and Gianna, along with the many nephews, nieces, and extended family members, All of whom he loved and touched deeply.
To honor Gerard's memory, we are celebrating his life on Saturday, August 27th, 2022, at OLD DAVIE SCHOOL, 6650 Griffin Road Davie 33314, at 3:30 PM p.m. Please join us.
