Gloria H. Bridge

Gloria is survived by her Brother, Desmond Brice, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her sister, Juliet Patricia Amiel, of Sunrise, Florida; She is preceded in death by her first husband, Roy F. Minott, of Kingston,

Jamaica; her second husband, Roy Anthony Bridge, of Kingston, Jamaica; and her brother, Ashby Brice, of Lauderhill, Florida.

Gloria was born on March 19th 1930 in Linstead, Jamaica, to parents Lyndon C. and Gertrude E. Brice. She graduated from North Middlesex Hospital in London, England with a degree in Nursing. After a career in nursing she worked at Novelty Trading Company with her second husband. She married Roy F. Minott in 1956 and the couple had two children together, Christopher Minott and Paul Minott. After the passing of Roy Minott she married Roy Anthony Bridge in 1967 and had one child, Peter Bridge. Gloria leaves behind seven grandchildren - Yannique Minott, Damian Arabasz, Owen Minott, Holden Bridge, Johari Minott, Blake Bridge and Kiara Minott, as well as great granddaughter Rowan Arabasz.

Gloria was a social, active woman who was deeply involved in the Methodist Church for the majority of her life. She enjoyed travel, reading, and the company of her children and grandchildren. Her family and

friends will always remember her as a caring and compassionate person.

A memorial service for Gloria will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. Chaplain Bromley will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gloria’s life.
