Gloria was born on March 24, 1925 in Jamaica to parents Sydney Smith and Madeline Smith. She graduated from The University of The West Indies in Jamaica with a degree of Bachelor of Science & the University of Hull in the UK, she moved to the USA and served many years as a Teacher in both Jamaica and California.
Gloria is survived by her daughter Arlene Reid of Fort Lauderdale; her son Michael Lewis, of Fort Lauderdale; and her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband Vincent Lewis, of Fort Lauderdale.
Gloria was a devout Christian woman who was deeply involved in her Church and Family for the majority of her life. Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, caring, faithful person.
