Mommy Dicks, You have finally been laid to rest. I still can't believe my Grandma is gone. I hope you are pleased with everything. You definitely will be missed. You were loved by so many, and the memories that everyone shared showed it. Everyone that knew you told me I looked just like you. I always knew that but it means so much more now. It made me smile. Don't worry about daddy or Uncle Richie and the rest of the family in Ja. I will do my best to try and fill your shoes. We wear the same size but yours are a whole lot deeper. I don't know how you managed to do everything you did for us. I hope you can send me some of your strength. You are invited to all my special life events, and remember I want you to be the first person I see when it's my time to join you. I will never stop loving you. I hope I continue to make you proud. Helen Dicks, I call her mommy Dicks and she calls me mommy Curtis. She was a loving, caring, kind and sharing
person. We were two mother-in-laws but we were close.
When I am in Florida whenever she is home on her days off
we would talk for hours.During her illness I was in Jamaica
i call her every week I am glad her sufferings are over.
May she rest in peace.

Remembering Helen (Shirley)

A person can hear, but a friend listens for meaning, a person looks, but a friend sees the heart, a person knows, but a friend sees your dream and a friend loveth at all times. Helen was all of these and more to myself and family.

During her illness, Helen found comfort committing herself to the Lord and knowing, he knows what was best for her. It pleased him to take her home.
Helen will be missed, but never forgotten... May her soul rest in peace...

Mommy Dicks was a great lady. She was nice and she helped people. She is my cousin's grandma and I will miss her a lot. Love Janiyah Cohen 8 yrs old.

The Smile told it all- I was lucky to have met Grace through the MImun family . I watched as she was a solid "backbone" to their kids growing up who all adored her. A true angel in their lives. She lit up a space all around her that made one feel good just to be near. I would encounter her on  her walks  and  I with my four legged furry ones. I could always tell she was coming as my Pug would get excited to see her, even from afar. My dogs knew what she was about...kind , loving and full of Grace. 
Randal and Richard , I thank you for sharing ,with all such a great person . She touched many lives and spoke so lovingly of both of you.  I know she will be looking down with devoted eyes to guide and watch over you. May you and your children be filled with her love forever. I will miss that smile "that said it all " and that sweet Jamaican calm voice of hers.

I knew Grace through my dear friends, the Mimuns. Her smile, her hug and her warmth were a delight and I looked forward to seeing her every time I visited Claude and Lauren. She will be missed but her goodness was surely passed on. God rest your soul, Grace and God bless your sons and family.

I had the honor of meeting dear Grace while visiting my cousin Lauren last year. I had been hearing all the family talk about her for years. Cloe introduced her as her Mother. She will be missed.

I have known Grace for more than 25 years, and cannot thank her enough for her love and devotion she gave to my father and mother. Grace and I shared a common sense of wicked humor . I will greatly miss those times but mostly I will miss this truly amazing and kind woman that I had the pleasure of knowing. May she rest in peace.

Grace has allowed me to become the young lady I am today.  The love that she has showed me, and the strength she has given me will never fade away... it will only grow stronger. Your mother has played such a significant role in my life. Not a day will go by that I do not think of her or appreciate the love she has given my family. What a beautiful angel she is.

I met Grace over 20 years ago in Hollywood, Florida while visiting my sister, Lauren and her family. She was a kind, quiet woman who truly loved sharing her gift of "doing for others". She will be missed terribly by all  who had the privilege of knowing her. Good bye sweet Grace.

The only comfort we have at this sorrowful time is knowing that you are at peace and not suffering.  It is always hardest on those of us left behind.

The love and care you shared with us these last 25 years will continue in our hearts and memories.  You were the ultimate care-giver and it makes me happy knowing that our maker is taking care of you now.
