Remembering Heni from the 70s at Kingston OBC.She was a wonderful sweet soul who was estatic in sharing her love for her Lord Jesus Christ.RiP Heni.

Henny was a very close family friend, closer than most of our relatives. We loved her deeply and she shared so many of our most important family events--May Pen, Kingston and the founding of KOBC. I so wish I could have seen her, even one more time.

She was a warm compassionate woman who was always there for everyone especially the young people at the Christian Center in Montego Bay. She was highly respected by all and was always sought after for a word of advise or to pray over a situation. 

There was never a dull moment with her, SHE WAS ALWAYS SMILING, ALWAYS PRAYING AND ALWAYS HAVE A KIND WORD TO IMPART .

Sister Henny,  you will be sadly missed but we are comforted knowing you are in a better place with your Lord and Savior.

	◦	You cannot think about Sis Henny without a reflection of a radiant smile followed by an infectious laugh that quickly dispels whatever problems you have.
	◦	In 1971 when my father Menzie Oban and his wife Icy returned to Jamaica to start a center. Through divine providence he became a member of Open Bible Church, where he joined Brother Baugh, Sis Henny and others who had an active Prison Ministry. It was during this period that I met Sis Henny.
	◦	My early recollection of Sis Henny is at prayer meetings in our living room, weekly visits to prison, open-air meeting in different parts of the Island Nagger Head, Marvalley and Port Antonio. I saw Sis Henny as a holy woman and I was always in awe of her ability to pray long prayers . 
	◦	Sis Henny was an integral part of the birth of the Christian Centre based in August Town. They worked out of a little office at Tibby’s Auto Supplies.
	◦	When the center moved base to Montego Bay, Sis Henny moved from Kingston to Montego Bay. It was during this time when Henny’s versatility was most evident. She was secretary, musician, Sunday-school teacher, preacher, play director, fund raiser,councilor and I could continue with this list.
	◦	Sis Henny was a person I considered a rounded christian. I could always share a joke, countless hours till 2 am playing scrabble and a fashion tip if needed, however, this was never at the expense of her commitment to Christ and the things of God. I had the pleasure and privilege to work closely with Miss Henny for a couple of years during this period. I remember her mostly for her bible studies. She was the first person with whom I studied a whole book of the Bible. 
	

Her infectious smile, her charm, her humility and other Christ-like characteristics are some of the things that I will remember of our Sister Henny.  Over forty (40)  years ago Sister Henny shared an unforgettable experience with the family of the Mt. Salem Open Bible Church  where we (Alston & I) were serving.  She had an "out of body" experience and had conversation with her Lord (during a time of illness).
The Lord showed her the tears of young people who were sincerely praying for her at an all night prayer meeting. The tears were bottled up.
At Sister Henny's request, The Lord decided to give her more time on earth instead of taking her to the 'great beyond.'
The Lord showed her visual aids of the church, His people clinging on to worthless worldly things and neglecting the spiritual; they were also behaving as if they had much time when in fact, they had so little.
We were admonished and challenged to live more purposefully doing the will of The Lord.
Sister Henny made an indelible impression on my life for good.
Thank you LORD for giving her to us!
May God comfort the bereaved especially in this season.


I met dear Pastor Henny in 2013 just after she lost her dear Sister Rev Luna McKay. I was in recovery and she ministered to me at such a difficult time of my life. Her compassionate heart and attentive listening skills and just the spiritual insight and anointed intercessor she was helped me weather many more storms I encountered. I will always remember the deliverance sermons she shared in Church and  just her ability to lead people to the LORD. I will miss her, but I am comforted knowing she is no longer suffering and is safe in the arms of Jesus whom she loved so much. Sleep in peace dear Pastor you will be sorely missed. 

Sister Henny, your life exemplified that of a woman who truly knew what it is to totally depend on and trust in the Lord. You were my Mary who was always at my spiritual feet ready to pray me through the good times and the bad times. You have never given up the opportunity to pass on words of wisdom, and encouragement. Oh... that beautiful smile and infectious laugh will forever be imprinted in my mind. I am blessed that I was given the opportunity to spend part of my life’s journey with you close by. I think your mission on earth is accomplished. It was a joy to have known you.  Thinking of you in life and in death makes my heart happy. I will truly miss you.  God’s Peace.

Sister Henny was a mentor to me. I certainly admire the way that she worship and live a very exemplary life. As a young Christian back in the days I looked to her for support. She was genuine in our belief in Jesus Christ and it flows through the way she lived her life. She will be surely missed. My condolences go out to her family. 

Today we say farewell to a most distinguished member of the Open Bible family for more than fifty years.  She was a missionary of unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Kingdom of our God and Christ.
Without doubt Sister Henny has been one of the finest exemplars of true biblical Christianity; a woman of humility and grace.
Her memory lives on in our hearts. God gave to us a precious gift when He gave her to us -  a fine example of God's love.
Her soul is at rest in the arms of Sweet Deliverance and light perpetual is shining on her.

Sis Henny was truly a friend in need, and a friend in deed. My memorable journey with my beloved sister and friend, started 1965 at Kingston Open Bible Church. We ministered together in the prisons in Kingston and St. Mary, also night after night in Port Antonio.
I can recall the fun time the youth group had with sis Henny. Good food fun and fellowship .
She was a committed soul, always smiling. Sis. Henny was a great inspiration to all who she came in contact with.
We will always cherished her legacy. Thank God for a wonderful woman.

Life is an unknown journey we all have to travel.Sister Henny I am happy and pleased to share this rare opportunity of knowing you since my teenage days.
You’ve been kind, compassionate , always smiling and a mentor that have advocated and Champion teenagers and adults full potentials.I am a living testament to this fact.
Your teachings and infectious personality will live on throughout those whom you’ve encountered.

Today I morn the last of a champion, a mentor, a calm and gentle soul .
My spiritual mother Sister  Henny affectionatly called.
This wonderful woman thought me the importance of living for God ,her deep passion  and quest for the almighty are solid and unquestionably, she walked with peace, Joy, love, morals, principles and care for all.
I salute her and name her mother of our faith, I vividly remember her words, is it the Lord's will?
Meaning before I do anything.

It was always her desire to meet my children, fortunately she meet one of my sons, with arms open wide she said come to grandmother.
Her teaching in my early life lives with me today, I told her and her face just lightened up, 
her response thank you my son, am so happy glory to god.

When ever we talk on the phone she never hang up without say a prayer and gave me a word of encouragement. She as being mother ,councilor ,and caregiver for many of us, we know ourselves
She is gone to her creater now, leaves in us godly principles for us to impart.
I missed her , I love her in life I love her in death.
May her soul rest in peace 🙏

My memorable journey with Sis. Henrietta Hendricks started in 1968 at Kington Open Bible Church (KOBC)in Jamaica.  She was the Church Secretary, Youth Group Leader and a role model.  I recall the fun and fulfilling times of fellowship the young people had at her home, when we met for Bible study and some delicious food!
Our paths separated in the mid-70s as we went in pursuit of ministry and career. 34 years later, we reconnected in Florida, and it was as if we were never separated.  
Sis Henny was totally committed to God and the ministry to which she was called, and served faithfully for over 60 years. She was mightily used of God to foster spiritual growth and ministries across multiple generations. 
As a woman of faith and the Word, Sis Henny always had remarkable words of encouragement and wisdom based on the word of God to impart to all those who crossed her path.  She was a great inspiration to all who knew her – a diligent, outstanding, consistent and exemplary teacher of God’s word; an encourager and confidence builder.
Sis Henny was also a fervent and strong prayer warrior, was host to a prayer ministry and held a few prayer conferences in Florida for the glory of God! She was indeed a faithful, dedicated woman of God who was deeply rooted and grounded in the Word of God and the power therein.
Sis. Henny has impacted many lives, including mine, for the Kingdom of God. She established and maintained great and lasting friendships, and became a spiritual mother and mentor to many within and outside the body of Christ. Her legacy will be cherished and sustained.
I am forever grateful that our lives connected here on earth – thank God for the wonderful privilege!


Remembrances:
I remember way back when I first met Brother Samuel in a Chinese Church in Santa Ana, California.  I think that was about 1988.  

Brother Samuel had always told me that he planned to give his life to the mission field.  He had never planned to marry again but the Lord had other plans.  The Lord introduced him to Sister Henny who was also a minister of the Gospel and then after time told them to marry.  Their home was open for ministry and for the youth. I talked with Sister Henny on the phone many times before I met her.  I remember one time she thanked me for taking care of Brother Samuel when he came back to California. 

Over the years Sister Henny and Brother Samuel ministered to many youth. They thought about adopting some of them which they did.  They adopted Elizabeth and Ingrid.

Brother Samuel’s health started to decline.  After much prayer and contemplation they decided that they needed to come back to California.  The whole family packed up their belongings and came back to California.

Sister Henny was truly a prayer warrior.  She was  gentle to  approachable, loving and nonjudgemental along with other attributes. One area she was not gentle in was with her prayer life.  She stayed up and trampled on the plans of the enemy. That was her mission, to get the devil running. Her love for the Lord was serious. Never compromised. One night while we were still living in Rio Nuevo Jamaica, i heard her praying. In the morning i mentioned something to her about it and she said she was not up last night praying.  That is how much she was up fighting the battle in prayer that what ever it was that night took over in the spirit for her that night. 

When she could not pray for herself because she was physically exhausted, she never turned down prayers. I can remember praying with her on the phone and before i was done, her strength returned and she was praying in tongues and praising God. Nothing could keep her down. She was a gift to us who made an indelible inpact in our lives. A great example of Jesus Christ. 

Miss Henny, you have imparted so much in my life. From  Sunday school, countless bible lessons, memory verses  that I have in my heart to this day due to your teachings.  Endless hours of scrabble that at first I could only watch but later was granted the privilege to participate in. Your Prayers unending. From Jamaica to Florida you were never far. Thank you for your unwavering love for Christ, your diligence for work in His Kingdom and your love for His children. These Christ like qualities will carry on in all the lives you have touched.

"Sister Henny" - Henrietta Faulknor Kendrick was indeed family to me and entire family....she was the grandmother to my second grandchild, Faith, the only daughter of Francis.  From the time Henny came to California, we connected.  Bishop, Sister Henny, Esther and Gus were a "foursome."  We prayed together, we got into the Word together, we dined together (at our homes and all of the restaurants, near and far), we enjoyed going to the movies together, we cried together, we laughed together, we fellowshipped together, we gave, we shared, we traveled, we supported each other spiritually - we were together thru good and bad times, which is what family does.  Words are inadequate in expressing my love for Sister Henny!  She became family and I met so many of her family, Darcus, Luna, Marcia, Olivia, Elizabeth, Ingrid, Francis, (I can't remember the brother's name), and of course the love of her life (next to Jesus) Bishop Samuel Kendrick.  She was truly a Christ-centered, woman of God, prayer warrior, and teacher of the Word - a missionary in every sense.  She is reunited with Bishop and where she longed to be, in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus The Christ!  I look forward to seeing her again.  Love you Sister Henny.


So many memories!!!

Memories of you flexibly serving and ministering carried out in an unpretentious manner which was so characteristic of you. You worked  tirelessly uncomplaining and with zeal and joy. 
Whether this be prison visiting with Dad and the team. Co-ordinating church & outreach events, for instance in Flankers Whitehouse and Flower Hill. 

Memories of you participating in an island wide tent meeting evangelism, often delivering the gospel message with prophetic dynamism .

Memories of your commitment and dedication, all of which has been invaluable particularly as you were often working without any remuneration.  

Memories of you mentoring me during my first holiday job in Kingston as a teenager at the
Team Work Ministries office you managed for Dad.

Memories of you staying up until midnight in the office, working with the outdated printing machine. Ensuring that the Team Work Ministries news letters were able to be sent out 
in a timely manner. Your hands and finger nails often black with printing ink. 

Memories of our young people's meetings and with your creativity, wit and also sense of fun 
we had the most enjoyable times filled with love and laughter. 

There were sports days, fund raising car washes, box lunch and tea shirt sales. 
Camp banquets with the crowning of camp King and Queen, debating competitions 
Also drama productions which we able to use as a source of ministry to other fellowships. 
The list is endless !

Every day we had devotion together and young people would get together at our home on Friday nights or as often as they could. They were always welcomed by Sister Hennie.
We always sat around the table to have our meals. The consummate caregiver, she would always make sure we were seated even if she did not sit at the table, due to her feet that were a constant source of discomfort. She valued these times and would find out how our day went.
Sister Hennie, even though she had a challenge with her feet, this did not stop her from ministering wherever she was needed. Sometimes the walk to and from some places were long and tiring and at nights, even after soaking her feet in warm water and using different herbs as poultice to wrap them, she would groan with the pain, and I would feel so helpless, but this did not stop her from trampling on Satan's head, you would not know she was not well.
As a prayer warrior, she taught me about spiritual warfare and about breaking and loosing oneself and others from bondage. The last book she gave me was- Prayers that rout demons and break curses. She was always encouraging me to strive for more spiritually and in my personal life.
Sister Hennie was my second mother and I would always be informing her of what was happening in Craig's and my life.
She and my mama shared the same birth date- November 16, and because of my love for them both ,
I got married on that date, Mama was unable to attend my wedding due to illness, so Sister Hennie stood in for her
The only birthday party I had every had was put on by Sister Hennie for the 3 of us -Amoy, Craig and I. When I was invited to the party that was to be held for her 80th birthday, I had to attend. I took off from work on the Friday and returned to Jamaica on the Sunday. Some persons saw it as a waste of money, I saw it as creating memories that never fades.
The icing on the cake was the 2 weeks I spent with Olivia and her in 2018. We created some memories that I will always cherish. 

I have so many fond memories of Sister Hennie that I will only be able to give just a brief outline of our journey together.

We came into each others life in 1989 starting with the first night of a crusade of which she was a part. I never knew that I stood out to her until I became a part of her family. She said they had video of each night of the crusade, which they would look at, at the end of each night and she said she saw conviction on me from the first night and would always be on the lookout for me -her girl, as she put it. I got baptised and was told pointedly, to find out what was my son's father's intentions, whether he was going to give his life to the LORD or willing to marry me because I could no longer live that type of life. Due to his response, I was invited to be a part of Sister Hennie family -a walk of faith as I was not working. I was a big sister to Amoy, who was added to her family at the same time, and someone who would be more able to communicate with a teenager, as Sister Hennie said she did not know how to, at the time. Here began my son's and my journey as a ward of Sister Hennie, where she began to groom me physically and spiritually. We were able to talk about everything.
She became my counselor, my financier, my son's major caregiver and my friend.

Wherever Sister Hennie went, my son, Amoy and I went. She took us along with her to Savannah Lamar to her sister for the Christmas, my first and only trip there. She was an integral part of Women's Aglow, and the first time I stayed in a hotel, for a week, was through her. We stayed at Wyndham Hotel in New Kingston at a Women's Aglow Conference where I was able to listen to some dynamic men and women of GOD such as Myles Monroe, singer Candi Staton, Carolyn Harrell, Peter Morgan, Philip Phinn, Newton Gabbidon to name a few. She took us along to monthly meetings in Ocho Rios and Port Maria.

Sister Henny has simply shaken off the ‘flesh’, and so she continues to live on! 

She has gone on before us to the better place! And knowing Henny, she would not settle for less!

I’m so happy that that the road expansion is completed! Less congestion! Great work by your government!!
And so we talked! ….We talked! ….We talked! ….We talked about every and anything!
We talked about life in the country, yes Clarendon!
We laughed about folks in the country….. Aunt Tana, Miss Winnie and Mass Brown!
We conversed about the family here and overseas, young and old….. saved and unsaved!
We trusted God for the salvation of our siblings and their families…near and far!
We reasoned about the health of this one and the health of that one!
We shared the secret of Janet’s plan to visit her by summer, this year!
We got excited about the plan of meeting at Ernold’s residence soon!
We reflected on memories of the Christian Centre – the annual Camps, the young people, the chickens, etc.
We giggled about life in California – Esther and Gus, the choir, the trip to Las Vegas 
We relished the thought of walking, relaxing and praying in the park! Walking around the block and gazing at everything! Pulling out laughter at the funny side of nature!
We savoured the thought having Olivia, Ingrid and Sis. Beryl in her life 
And we often got excited about how awesome our God is – His faithfulness towards His children!
And we kept on talking,….. talking,…. talking about every and anything!

You reach home already, Marcia? That was quick! Really quick! 
Girl, I have to laugh when you say that you gave the police officer your work ID, while you slowly search for your car documents! That ID really softened their minds! Very smart, girl! Very smart!
Now that you reach inside, go get some rest now!

Henny was in shock but was elated……’ cause a marriage on the rocks suddenly changed course!
Tensions disappeared! Heaviness took flight! The cloud went through the windows!
And the atmosphere was filled with joy! Laughter!....from giggle to haa, haa, haa, to wow, wow, wow!
Yes, congratulations to you, Harry! 
And Harry and Orthel, you need to do this more often! Play games! 
Let down your hair! Bring out the child in you and just laugh! Yes, just laugh! And I say…… laugh!

Marcia: "Ackee and saltfish? I don’t eat that stuff! It’s too yakky! I eat saltfish but not ackee"!

Henny: "Well, little sister, you are going to eat it this morning"!

Yes, she prepared it! Really prepared it! And I say, she really… really… really prepared it!

Henny: "Come, Marcia, eat up everything! I mean ………everything"!

How was it? Answer me, girl! How was it?

Marcia: "It tasted really good! If this is ackee and saltfish, then they have a right to name it the national dish"! 

…..I must tell you all, from then I have not eaten ackee and saltfish again!  

I’m back to square one! 

I’m yet to find the one or the place that can make it taste like that of Henny….. the Chef in Waiting!

Henny: "Marcia, I hope you will understand now. Your Mom and Dada didn’t seem to understand then".

I was involved in the work of God, giving support to the leadership of my church, the Open Bible Church, Washington Boulevard! A segment of one of the ministries, based on the call of God had to be established in Montego Bay. I had to go also based on the calling! I was also a part of the team!

And the ministry at Torado Heights Christian Centre has really impacted several communities, touching and transforming lives, especially that of the young people! 
When I think of Flankers, and the men and women today, I am feeling so good! My mission was not in vain! 

Yes, look at McKoy, Leslie, Boswell, Clinton, Cynthia, Elaine, Sharon and the list goes on! It was worth it, Marcia! It was really worth it! I can only say, thank you, Jesus for using me as a vessel!
I have no regret, Marcia! Trust me! No regret! Understand, sweetie?

Archive 1 of 6: The Bee that did not Sting!

So, Marcia, my mother died when I was still young, leaving the 8 of us. Can you imagine? Dada couldn’t manage. Him just couldn’t manage at all!
So Sister Bee, the mid-wife in the community was like a savior. Yes, Marcia, I had to stay with her! She helped to grow us, me in particular – sending me to learn sowing! Having a skill was very important then! Young girls must have a skill, not just having babies!
Yes, she was strict! Very strict! But she used no stick on me! 
No, Sister Bee didn’t sting me at all! Throughout the years, not one sting!
I then realized that I was destined to be a honey!!!

Henrietta Faulknor-Kendrick  - Sister Henny had a gift of praying. Many times when I was having a problem I would call her. She would spend hours on the phone praying and encouraging me.  

I am really going to miss her for that, she was such a warm, loving and caring person and would always greet you with a smile. 

During my stay at the Team work Christian Centre in Montego Bay Sister Henny was the secretary and she took me under her wings and taught me so much.

I would often assist Sister Henny with general office duties and the printing of the newsletter.
Those days we had to operate the printer manually which was sometimes challenging.
However a lot of fun as dear Sister Henny had a great sense of humour. 
 
The skills I learned and experience gained with help and guidance from Sister Henny. Resulted in putting me in good stead to secure a position as a clerk at the local Smithville Bank when I returned home to my community.
                                                        
Sister Henny had a good appetite and one of her favourite dishes she loved to cook was Green Peas Chicken ! She would sometimes serve it for us at the Centre which we 
all thoroughly enjoyed.

Sister Henny has impacted so many of our lives and was dearly loved. She was a spiritual mother to many of us at the Centre and beyond it. Special memories will forever be in our hearts.     

You have fought the good fight have finished the race and have kept the faith.

Mother Hen you will be sadly missed but never forgotten !

Catherine Marcia Lewinson

I  will always remember SIs Henny, as she was  affectionately,  called. She was a tall, elegant, soft spoken, courageous , faithful  lady, with an infectious  smile, and a winsome personality. She was an anointed  woman of God,  who preached the word of God with all authority and  also  blessed  the believers with  her dynamic singing.  Sis Henny  will also  be missed  on the Online  Prayer  Meetings. 

Many years ago , during  one of Sis Henny's  bouts of sicknesses, God  gave her a vision to share with the world. The vision-- "It was one minute to midnight , and the people were still crawling."  I echo this vision, and encourage every one to get ready to meet God.

Rest in  peace, Sis  Henny. "You have fought a good  fight , you  have finished the race. you have kept the faith : Finally  there is laid  up  for you the crown of  righteousness , which the Lord , the righteous  judge , will give you on that  day." 2 Timothy 4:7-8


 I met Sister Henny at Team Work Montego Bay Jamaica in the 1970s Her dynamism in ministry has impacted my life in many ways. Her testimonies of life experiences reveals a God anointed and God favored life. In the face of challenges  Sister Henny remained in ministry as one sold out to God.  Her life laced with remarkable works of the spirit of God.  After her husband died Sister Henn called and left a farewell message on my phone... She felt that her time had come... I asked the Lord for His will to be done ... Next morning on waking up I heard the Lord's reply... "I have given her evenings"....I related to her what I heard... We have prayed through many many evenings. Thanks be to God for a great mentor, a generous soul, a humble, faithful vessel whose legacy lives on in generations of souls. Eternity shall surly speak of her works in Christ.

We called her sister Henny but she was more like mother Henny because she was our spiritual mother.  She had a way of making every one feel welcomed. 
But in the administration of prayer sister Henny was truly gifted by God! She ministered to us on many occasions in prayer.
Our introduction to the Kendrick family was a turning point in the Harris families life. They helped us grow and we will be eternally grateful to God for having placed Henrietta "Henny" Kendricks in our path! Hallelujah!

Remembering Sis. Henrietta Faulkner Kendrick! My mamason!💕

Words cannot express...Sis Hennie and her beloved family were introduced to us over twenty years ago (August 1999) when they moved to California from Jamaica. She is the, wife of the late beloved,  Bishop Samuel Kendrick and second mom to Francis, Ingrid and Elizabeth Kendrick and so many more! The LORD is so strategic in His timing; as we grieved the home going of my mother,  Frances Jean Ervin, He blessed us with the Kendrick's and our lives have been eternally blessed! After her beloved husband's homecoming in 2008 she moved to Flordia with her Sister Luna and her daughter, Olivia(2009) her sister Luna preceded her in glory a few years ago and she remained faithful to God, her niece Olivia and a host of family and friends. A strong and mighty warrior of God, she fought the good fight of faith until the LORD called her off the battlefield on May 1, 2020.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Our heart's are heavy, yet we give God glory , 2Timothy 4:7-8 NLT, for her love, her life lived and her crown in glory!  Until we meet again, mama son, we love you!💕🙏🏽💕🙏🏽💕



WELCOME SISTAH “HENNY”

Well, Sister Henny, it such a pleasure to finally meet you.

It’s good to know that all that we heard about you is true.

For whenever your husband would speak, this is all we would hear,

“My wife said this, my wife said that”, you know, he really loves you my dear.

We hope that the trip from Ocho Rios to California was all that you thought it would be,

And, we know you miss your loved ones back home, but now you have a whole new family.

We know that being a Missionary is in your spirit, it’s deep within your heart.

But, little did you know that in the Bishop, you would find your counterpart. 

To hear you speak of your calling, we know it was in God’s plan,

But, what you didn’t know was that in Jamaica you would find the right man!

“Catch the Vision” you have pleaded, over and over, again.

We want you to know that we have caught it, sweet Sistah, and we’ll support you to the end.

May God protect you, Sister Kendrick, as you travel the world.

Just remember that your new Temple Sistahs are lifting you in prayer, and we love you, girl!

Henny was a friend, a consultant and often had to put me in my place - and I am thankful! She helped my Mom take care of me during a life-threatening illness, and well, Henny loved me and my 2 sisters, Geri and Kathleen.  When we had the “opportunity” to sell mangoes from the backyard in Kingston, she taught us how to make sure we got a fair price - but reminded us that it was OUR job to clean up rotten mangoes as part of running a business!  She loved, LOVED Jesus - 100% - in the way she lived and served Him.  She knew her Bible and shared her knowledge at the church, helping to teach AND worked hard when she went to school - plus working at the same time. 

Without her, the huge job of building the Kingston church would have been next to impossible. The Lord put her in the right place at the right time! 

When we left Jamaica, then visited in 1996, it was the last time I would see her here on earth. I loved her so much and know there are many who did and who benefited from her laughter too. I can almost hear it now. My thoughts and memories fail to tell the depth of who Henny was and how I feel.  My prayers are with the few who are gathered to celebrate her life in person and I will celebrate with you online! I first remember meeting Henrietta “Henny” when I was just a little girl of 3-4 years old. We were living in May Pen, Jamaica, at the time, and she was an important part of my life for many years, even after we moved to Kingston. My sisters and I loved her so much, that it was hard when she moved away and moved on with her life. Even though miles and years separated us, she was always in my heart. See you soon, Henny. ♥️
