Dorothy and family, Joannie and I are so sorry to hear of your loss. Ned was a mentor to me when I was a younger lawyer and we worked on many deals together while he was at Spieth Bell. He was a skilled and pragmatic lawyer and a great friend. We wish you all the best.

Dorothy, I was so sorry to hear this news. The thing I remember the most about Ned is how good he was to my dad when Dad was sick. Ned always brought him a book having to do with the sea or the Navy. He was a thoughtful man. You and your family have my deepest sympathies.

Dorothy - Vivid images of Ned and you at our Spieth Bell dinners come readily to mind.  Ned's strong personality and cut-to-the-chase style fit in well with the other colorful characters in our firm.
