Jacqui was born in Riley, Indiana on March 31, 1923, and moved to south Florida in the 50's making it her home. She was known to many as "Miss Jackie" as she was a cosmetology instructor for many years in the Fort Lauderdale area. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Rathbun, granddaughters Tara Porter, Linda Martin, Susan Freeman (Dean), great granddaughters Amy Rathbun and Sara Martin, sister Imogene Brewer, sister-in-law Fredona "Donna" Bevis and many nieces and nephews. Colonel USMC-Ret., daughter Cynthia Tamucci (Edwards), parents Roy and Gladys Bevis, sister Carrie Campbell, brothers Orrin Bevis, Alfred Bevis and Herbert Bevis. To have known her was to love her, she was amazing and she will never be forgotten, she was and still is our angel. Jacqui will be laid to rest with her loving devoted husband on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation or the Navy League of Fort Lauderdale, her most beloved causes.
