He was preceded in death by his parents Ora and Albert D. Holsonback, his wife of 54 years Dorothy Anne Conroy and his daughter Deborah. Derrick served in the Air Force from 1946 – 1966 in communications and electronics, followed by a career with Sears. Derrick had a passion for fishing and computers.
He is survived by two of his daughters Lynn O’Brien and Sandra Campbell and her husband Christopher, four grandchildren; Colin, Ian, Kera and Courtney as well as four great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell Florida, November 2019.
James will be missed dearly.
