

James Douglas Raudebaugh, Age 61, passed away May 13, 2025, in St. Augustine, Florida. He was pre-deceased by his parents, James and Joanne (nee Goodrich) Raudebaugh. His survivors include wife, Jennifer (nee Leiner), and son Mason. Survivors also include sister Christine Hodnick (Richard) and brothers Robert (Teri) and David (Christine), sisters-in-law Linda Gulick (John) and Laura Knecht (Bob), brothers-in-law Jim Leiner (Denise), Stephen Leiner (Karen) and Michael Leiner (Dorothy) and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Lois Leiner.
Jim was born in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Plantation, Florida. He attended Plantation High School and was active in youth basketball and junior golf. He enjoyed a 30-year plus career in full-service restaurant management with a major national company. He was a teacher and mentor to hundreds of young people and recognized with many team performance awards. Throughout his life he had a passion for surfing and made several excursions with friends to Costa Rica to surf in the Pacific Ocean. He was also a skilled golfer, having enjoyed playing since his youth. Naturally, being born in Cleveland, he was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan.
Jim had a modest and earnest personality and was gifted with the ability to engage with people in a sincere and approachable way. He was a devoted husband and father, and felt blessed to have his son, Mason, of whom he was so enormously proud.
A graveside service will be on June 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens South located at 2401 Davie Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A celebration of life will take place immediately afterwards at Brio Italian Grille, located at 499 South University Drive, Plantation, Florida.
