It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Kelly, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left us peacefully. She lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

Born with an insatiable spirit, Jean cherished every moment of her 96 years. She was an avid traveler, exploring new places and creating cherished memories with family and friends. Jean enjoyed spending her leisure time playing golf, indulging in mahjongg, and enjoying evenings of bingo, where her joyful laughter and competitive spirit were always present.

Jean is survived by her loving daughters: Cheryl Wright and her husband Karl Wright, and Bonnie Hernandez and her husband Manuel. She was a proud grandmother to Kimberly Scandizzo and her husband Michael, and Dale Wright and his wife Susan. Jean found immense joy in her role as a great-grandmother to Taylor, Jordan, Nickolas, Lindsey, Jared, and Lea. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she instilled in them a legacy of love and kindness.

Jean’s warmth, humor, and zest for life will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She touched the lives of many, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to a charity of your choice.

Rest in peace, dear Jean. You will be forever remembered and loved.

Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, US, on June 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Follwed by the Funeral Service
