I've known Janet almost 15 years, and what more can be said about a woman that gave herself and her time to everyone around her...she was always there for you. The purest of hearts, the sweetest of spirits, and the brightest of lights are just a few ways to describe Janet. Every time I saw Janet, she made me smile..and that's how I'll always remember her: smiling, and making people around her smile. Dear Chris, Carolyn, Family, and Friends,

I am already missing Aunt Janet's voice and how she used to sometimes wake Mom (her sister) calling too early in the morning ( Aunt Janet was an early riser and there was a three-hour time difference).  Only she got to do this.  Mom and she were close--there were almost daily phone calls.  Sometimes more, if there was some late breaking news.

Her passing has been sudden and kind of a shock.  It is taking me a while to understand that she is gone.  I've always been amazed at how close Chris and Carolyn have been with their mother, and especially Chris, being local, took such great care of her (as he did with Grandmother and Grandpa).  They (you) both did.  I am sorry for your loss.  I don't think you could have done anything more than you did.  It all happened so quickly.  I know you deeply love your Mom, as she does you.

I know she really treasured her friendships, especially with Chad and Mark.  And that working at Steve's Restaurant, and all the people there, meant a lot to her.
 
I think Aunt Janet, in a certain way, was the easiest person in the world to be around--she was so accepting, loving, and generous!  Extremely enthusiastic and in the moment.  She was always making or doing something for others, or planning a gift project.  She's the only one I know who makes/buys Christmas presents six months in advance.  She will be greatly missed.

Dear family and friends of Janet Gallicchio Timler,

I wish to pay tribute to Janet, my sister in law.  We met when she and her sister, Joan, were still living at home.  They had completed their education and were just launched on their careers. That was well over half a century ago.

Janet has always been a caring and loving person as others have already attested.  Over the decades, we have celebrated together the successes and happy times.  When health or other challenges came along, as is inevitable in the human experience, I was often awed at the energy and determination she demonstrated to make things right.  

As I think about that dear woman, I especially like to recall her as she was, when we first met. She was a stunning young woman with sparkle, joy, and enthusiasm.  She looked remarkably like Gina Lollobrigida. No man under 95 could fail to take note of her!     

She expressed such vivacity and a jest for living and new experiences; she was eagerly awaiting life’s great adventures.   Those are the wonderful things that I like to remember about Janet.

My deepest sympathy to Janet's friends and family. She was a blast to be around and had a heart of gold. Wish we had stayed in touch.

To Chris and Family, My deepest sympathy goes out to your whole family. Your mom was a great person. I worked with her at Steve's for quite awhile. She will be missed by many. May God Bless each and everyone of you in this sad time.
