John is survived by his beloved husband Raymond “Ray” J. Gregoire. John was a giving and loving husband and friend who enjoyed life to its fullest…He was a Fort Lauderdale realtor for many years and was most recently with Berkshire Hathaway. John was also co-founder of AveNew Travel.
John graduated in 1974 with a degree in Architecture from Georgia Tech and was an architect during his years in Georgia. John studied World Religions in 1976 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In 1978, he also received his doctorate in theology at Southwestern Theological in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Beside his husband, John is survived by his business partner Kevin Newman…John is also survived by his mother-in-law Simone Gregoire, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews, most of whom reside in Rhode Island. John also leaves many wonderful and loyal friends..
A Memorial Service will be held at Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home 4601 N. Federal Highway Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33308 on January 5, 2017 at 10am.
