Pop-pop John was my best friend. Whenever I needed help, pop-pop john was there. Whenever I needed a ride, pop-pop john would come and get me with no issue. Whenever I had family issues, pop-pop john was there to take care of me.
The love I still have for pop-pop john is unexplainable. I remember him calling me while he was in and out of the hospital and he always told me he loved me.
Pop-pop Johns love for the whole Orefice family was something he cherished and we should cherish that forever.
I remember when Pop-pop john called me on my birthday on November 8th , he had told me he had gotten out of the hospital and I was thrilled to hear how healthy he sounded.
My mom called me to tell me what happened when I was at my friends house. I told him I had to go and on the whole car ride home I was balling with tears.
I am really going to miss you Pop-pop John, I will never forget you.
I just wish I could’ve seen you once last time 🥺

I have known John since 9th grade. Being with him always made for a memorable time!! I've always thought of him as one of the most warm and giving guys. I'm blessed to have had him as my friend. He will always be missed. Love you, John. We will ride together again.

I was blessed to have known John almost all of his 72 years. He was a man and a friend who really loved helping others. A good heart has stopped beating and a good soul has ascended to heaven. Parting with a friend as beloved as John, I do so with great sorrow. May he rest in eternal peace.
My condolences to the Orefice family.
