John Joseph Provenzano

October 9, 1960October 12, 2021

John Joseph Provenzano "JJ", age 61, of Pompano Beach, FL passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2021.

He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories and sense of humor. He truly brought the life to the party. His love of life was evident in the way he lived.

He was beloved by everyone who ever met him, a fantastic father, a great husband and a best friend to many. No matter the circumstances you would always leave with a story of something funny John did while you were with him.

John loved cooking for family and friends, especially on the holidays. His favorite thing to do was to go out on the boat fishing with his son Jiovanni.

John is survived by his wife of 16 years, Lyn, his son Jiovanni (14), his two children from a previous marriage; Tiffany (39 - Bellmore, NY) and John Jr. (37 - Fort Lauderdale, FL) and his granddaughter Summer (14).

John is now at peace joining his parents Andrea and John - one fun party re-united.

John's funeral service will commence on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1:00 at St. Coleman Catholic Church, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

In lieu of flowers an education fund has been setup for Jiovanni. In memory of John, please consider contributing towards Jiovanni’s high school and college education, as any amount will truly help our family at this time. By clicking you will be guided through a secure process to help give this lasting gift of education for: Jiovanni Provenzano. Thank you in advance for your contribution from the family.

It can be a great comfort to a grieving person or family to hear that others thought highly of their loved one, too. If you knew and admired John, be sure to let the family know by writing a few words in the "Memory" section of his obituary on the Kraeer - Fairchild Funeral Home website.

Lyn & Jio,
Words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss of a husband and a father. There really are no words....
John has been Vinny's best friend for many, many years, they grew up together like brothers! Always helping each other out when the time was needed. They talked more times in one day on the phone then any other one of Vinny's friends or family members!
John helped Vinny buy his first boat, teaching him all he knew about boating, fishing etc.....He helped us find the most perfect house on the water, they lived down the canal from us in the house on the water with the best views! We have so many memories eating dinner there on Sundays & Holidays! So many memories at Metropolis, and all our weekend getaways in Atlantic City, so many laughs and always a great time! We will cherish those memories for ever!
John, you will be greatly missed, it's hard to even accept that you are no longer with us here in the physical world.
May you rest in peace and dance in heaven with the angels!!!
Love, Debbie, Vinny, Nikki & Alexa

MONKEY!! As we always called each other on every phone call 3 or 4 times a day!! You were and always will be my brother! For almost 30 years all we did was laugh and cherish our times together..laughing at our own inside jokes was always hysterical because noone knew why we were laughing. I made you laugh so much you'd almost fall off the chair and you'd do the same to me.i can't understand a lot of things as to why you left took me several tries and days to write this because I had no strength and I'd just put the phone down each time. I know your going to be hanging around with us all because you made me see things I wasn't looking for..I sent one to lyn.. made me drop things over and over this week and made me say "REALLY MOE ??"..LOL. just keep doing it I need to know your still around my heart is shattered broken in pieces...I love you so much.. as we always called eachother.. ...MOOONNN KEY!!!😘❤❤❤❤💔💔💔💔🙊🙉🙈😪😪😪

So sorry to hear of John's passing. Know the family and others will miss him.

I worked with John on the two Cheddars restaurants. He was a wealth of knowledge, was willing to help in anyway and always got the job done. Enjoyed his wit and candor. We became friends.

Happy we were able to catch up and chat a few months ago.

Thoughts and prayers are with you all!!
