He was married to his wife Nidza Gonzalez for 49 years.They renewed their vows on May 23, 2008 in Avon Park Fl. He graduated from State University of New York Urban Center in Brooklyn. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Jose Enrique Gonzalez Sr worked as a Plant Treatment Operator for Miami Dade Water Sewer for 27 years. He received a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator License.
He was involved in Coaching son teams T Ball at S.W.B.J.A.A and North Miami Beach Optimist Youth Baseball. He attended Gold Coast School of Real Estate where he obtained his real estate license.
Jose Enrique Gonzalez Sr is preceded in death by his father Juan Neponuceno Gonzalez , His Step Brothers- Guarionex Gonzalez, Gilberto Gonzalez and his Step- Sister Gloria Gonzalez, and His son Alberto Gonzalez (BJ)
Jose Enrique Gonzalez is survived by his wife Nidza Gonzalez his Son Jose Enrique Gonzalez Jr, Daughter in law Beatriz Raquel Alicea Natal, Son Enrique Gonzalez, Son Anthony Gonzalez and Daughter Josette Lynn Gonzalez.
Jose Enrique Gonzalez Sr. Surrived by his Mom Ramona Cruz. His Brothers and Sisters are Lourdes Gonzalez, Emma Vasquez, Reynaldo Gonzalez, Step Brothers & Sisters: Jose Oscar Gonzalez, Candida Luz Gonzalez, Juan Nepnuceno Gonzalez Jr, Pilar Gonzalez.
Jose will be remembered by his Grandchildren and his Great Grandchildren
