Jose Vicente Lemus, age 46, of Plantation, Florida passed away on Monday July 2, 2018. Jose was born April 7, 1972 in El Salvador to parents Maria Elisa Medina and Vicente Lemus.

Jose Vicente Lemus Medina was married to Dilcia Amaya on June 1995.

Jose Vicente Lemus Medina had a passion for making sure those around him were always smiling and having a great time. He was a hard working man but his true passion was his family and enjoying every minute he spent with them. He enjoyed sports, cars, music, food, nature and his family.

He is survived by his wife Dilcia Amaya and daughter Yasaira Amaya.

A visitation for Jose will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home South, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A funeral service will occur Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317. A committal service will occur Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.

Jose will truly be missed by all who knew him.
