Dear Dr. Norm and family,
It is with a sad heart that I have to offer my deepest sympathies to you and yours!😢 I had the pleasure of briefly knowing Justin and I am so glad I had that opportunity.  His life was cut short way too soon but his legacy will live on and be cherished by all those whose lives he touched and will touch in the future.  There is no loss as great as the loss of a child.  I grieve with you and hope you will hold on to the wonderful memories of Justin.

As a patient at Dr Norms chiropractic office, I would always remember JT AKA Justin Timberlake always helping me whenever I needed assistance  with any of the exercises/ heat/electrical therapy as well as, genuinely just being a good person. Only knew him for a few months but I can tell from all the convos we had.. we could’ve been good friends. I’m always gonna cherish the few moment we had forever. My heart goes to the family of Dr Norm. I truly am sorry for what you guys are going through and I hope time does it healing. Hugs to all of you and may he skateboard in heaven in peace ❤️❤️

The thought of a parent having to say goodbye to his or her child is and will forever be the hardest pill to swallow in life.  God always has a purpose for each of us on this earth whether we know it or not.  Unfortunately when God deems your purpose fulfilled, he has other plans for us therefore calling us back to stand beside him . This leaves a void in our hearts as humans because although we know there is no such thing as forever we still find it hard to understand why it has to happen .  Justin came into this world without a clue of what to expect in this journey we call life.  You experimented with many opportunities of life in which we call growing up.  You challenged and accepted the challenge of many obstacles placed in front of you in this journey we call life.  Just know you’ve done well in this short but adventurous journey of life.  Your parents eyes will drown in tears, their 
hearts will be weighted with an unimaginable amount of sorrow but their memories of you will forever cast light over any cloudy day that tries to get in the way.  With that being said go into the gates of heaven and sleep well in paradise .

No one is ever prepared for the shock of death, least of all me when I heard this news.  I only knew Justin for a few months, but I got to know him a little bit while at Dr Norm’s amazing office.  He was going to school, starting to workout again, an avid skate boarder & recently got a beautiful Scorpion tattoo.
I was excited to show him the video of the dog skateboarding, which I’m sure he had seen hundreds of times, but I only just came across it.  Little did I know! My heart goes out to his treasured family!

Justin. It is unbelievable to me that you are no longer with us. I had the sincere pleasure of meeting Justin in Dr. Norm’s office. He was a delight! Justin was kind and jovial with everyone who walked through the door. He always made sure you were comfortable and always worried about how you were feeling. He will be deeply missed. Justin, I know you’re having a blast riding your skateboard in heaven! Dr. and Mrs. Adelkopf, my sincerest condolences. You are in my prayers!

I was so sad to hear about Justin’s passing. We met during summer camp at Cooper City High School- this picture was taken on one of our field trips, and I’ve held onto it ever since.  Although I moved after this particular summer, we thankfully remained connected through social media. Many of my memories of growing up in Cooper are filled with Justin’s presence, and for that I am grateful.

Thank you for the great memories of playing Harry Potter, huddled over the bathroom sink mixing potions. Sending goofy messages to each other on our DS from 5 feet apart, and for the countless times I would pester you to play when I’d come visit. Though we grew apart with age I’ll never forget the times we had.

Justin was truly a wonderful human. His love and passion for skateboarding ignited the same love into my son. Always treating them as equals. Squatting down to make eye contact with them when they spoke. He cheered and encouraged them from beginning to end. Smiling and pushing them to do their best. He got them so excited… as they got closer to landing a new trick. His smile was contagious. And he made such a positive impact in the lives of many little ones. He will truly be missed. 

Justin, we remember your smile, your amazing dancing talent, and your skateboarding tricks. All of your family and friends remember you and your performances, and we are sure a lot of your friends learned and enjoyed your special skills. They will always remember your tricks, and your hip hop movements. While you parted from us way too soon, you will forever be a motivation and encouragement to others. You are deeply missed. May you rest in the Lords perfect hands as you smile upon us from above. We love you.

Justin has been apart of my life pretty much all of my life. He was one of my closest friends for 16 years. To me Justin was more than just my friend but my brother. I have never met another individual like him because he was an amazing authentic person and an even better friend. He inspired and impacted so many people including me with his positivity and by just being himself. Justin didn’t care what others thought of him because he knew who he was and I respect his courage and confidence. We need more people like him in the world. Justin was a loyal friend who always had my back and I know that he will be looking over and helping me through my journey in life. I wish he could be with us today and words cannot describe how much I miss him. There are so many funny and good memories I can look back on and I will always keep those times close to my heart. Justin really was a brother to me. Since 5th grade we became best friends, In middle school we started skating together and the rest was history. We would  sit at the lunch table with our little group every day and just make fun of each other , Justin would always having me dead laughing bro was 😂 Funny Fr.  You really taught me a lot and you will always be in my heart Fam. You will be missed and I know you’re watching over all of us. Although I have known Justin since elementary, I truly didn’t know what a wonderful young man he was until I started doing his hair. We had some great conversations over the years. He has a wonderful sense of humor, and  he would laugh when I would cringe at some of the skateboarding tricks and jumps.  He will truly be missed. Love and hugs to all of you. 

I cannot believe he is gone. he was a great kid, a little on the wild side but always showed great respect to me.      I had the joy of knowing Justin throughout our years at Hawkes Bluff. Despite moving before seventh grade, most of my memories from elementary school have one person in common, Justin. From Kid of Character to the PB & J Club, he was a force of kindness from the get-go. While we ended up on different paths in life, I am glad I got to start out on the same path as him.

I was lucky to be Justin’s Third grade teacher at Hawkes Bluff Elementary.  Justin was such a bright boy.  He was always so positive, kind, and had the best handwriting!  I loved being his teacher that year.  I’m so sorry for your loss, my sincere condolences to your family. 

I always looked forward to teaching Justin on Friday nights. He was So talented and always wanted to learn new things.

This group of boys, one being Justin always made me laugh And have a great time when I was teaching them. They made my job as a hip hop instructor so much fun.

Justin you were such a positive light for so many people. Even when I was going through some rough spots in my life you were always trying to make me laugh and smile. You were so funny and so creative in so many ways. I can’t believe that you’re gone but I will always remember your kind and goofy spirit. Thank you for being such a good hearted person, you will be missed.

Although we did not have the opportunity to meet Justin , we can only imagine that he is a reflection of his father, Dr. Norman Adelkopf who is an exemplary man and wonderful friend. We are so saddened to hear of the passing of such a young, vivacious and and free spirited man with an entire life ahead of him.  From the outpouring  of messages that we have read, we know that Justin was well-loved and touched many people during his short time here on this earth. We hope that he is high above the clouds continuing to bring joy to the heavens with a skateboard in his hand , a beautiful smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. 20 years ago, my husband, myself, and our 2 little boys were given the greatest gift when we moved into our new house….2 little boys next door. The boys had immediate and lifelong friends, confidants, and play dates!  A few years  later, I (Kim) was given a  gift and got to be Justin’s 4th grade teacher…and he was truly a gift…charm, wit, and the most beautiful penmanship. As he continued to grow and mature, he never failed to give a cheery hello and a wave when he saw one of us enter and leave our house, Such beautiful  memories that we will cherish forever. We grew up side by side from Hawkes Bluff to Silver Trail to West Broward. Although we were not closest, we still interacted and had good times, especially back when we were younger. You were always happy and outgoing. I will always remember you bringing these special garlic pretzels to aftercare in elementary school and you would be giving a handful to anyone that asked. You were always a caring and genuine person!

My husband & I are patients of Dr. Norm. It is during this time we got to know Justin. He was always so sweet & attentive. When he would see us arrive he would always greet us with a smile & would admire our sneakers. He would always say he loved his own variety of Vans. The news of his passing hurts even more because he was so special. Our deepest, heartfelt condolences to his family & friends. I wish there were adequate words to help ease the pain. All I can say as I am sure you all know is that Justin is an amazing person. His spirit & energy will live on to eternity. He will always be with you all. Look for the signs. You will see/feel it. I met Justin back in 2016 when we were both young teenagers and I had just moved back to the cooper area from GA. The instant we met I could tell that this guy was one of the funniest people and I was lucky to have been introduced. Him, me and max would spend day in and day out together doing really nothing but enjoying each others company. Justin had that thing where no matter who he met or what situation you were in, he would without a doubt make you smile and raise your spirits. When I was going through some of the toughest times in my life, he was there for me. He would come over to my apartment and just sit with me and talk to me when I really needed it. Even though he had so many friends and so many other things he could have been doing, he took the time to make sure I was okay and to give me advice. It sounds so trivial, but words cannot truly describe how much he means to me and how he made me smile and laugh when I needed it the most. Not only did he show this love and care for all of the people he had in his life but he was one of the most smart and eccentric people I know. Im so proud that he was going back to school and really thinking about his career, I remember talking with him about planning classes and trying to give him back some of that advice he was always helping me with. Justin loved his friends and his family and he loved life. I will always remeber him for the hilarious, smart, loving, handsome, stylish, and amazing person he was and always will be. You will always be my best friend. I love you always. 

I remember Justin in ninth grade. The only way I could get to him, as a teacher, was to talk about skateboarding. To say that I am heartbroken for you is a complete understatement. Sending your family love and every bit of support that this universe could muster up. Lili Distefano

Since moving to Florida, Justin has become my first and closest friend. I have never been comfortable in a friendship so quickly and it became clear to me why he had this effect on so many people. Justin had an infectious optimism, an incredible laugh, and huge smile that everyone in the community gravitated towards. not only was he a talented skateboarder, but he was incredible with communicating with people.  Justin brought a light to every session by encouraging and motivating Everyone. Never discriminating, or judging always pure with a huge heart. 

I saw a lot of similarities between us and because we had a significant age gap I wanted to be a good role model for him. Justin was working for his father while simultaneously going to school and just started doing skate lessons on the weekends. He was always so proud to call me up and tell me he passed his exams. I was impressed he was never bummed  about any kind of excessive workload just motivated to get to the next steps to being successful. I was looking forward to continuing our friendship, watching him, grow, and mature into the man he was becoming. He had so much potential, and I knew he was going to be a friend I was going to have for the rest of my life. 

I have never lost someone so close to me, and the stages of grief have been confusing and difficult. Justin had an amazing relationship with his family and my heart absolutely breaks for them. I know that this community will get together and remember Justin with events and tributes which I look forward to being a part of. We will continue to cherish our special relationships with this amazing man and remember him for his incredible spirit. I am here for all of you and I know we can keep his presence alive forever. RIP bud bud l will forever love you.

I’ve known Justin my whole life, since elementary at Hawkes Bluff to graduating West Broward. Although we were never close, he was always nice to everyone at school including me. He would make everybody laugh in class. He was a beautiful soul. My prayers and condolences are with you ❤️

I had the honor of working with Justin at Creative Natural Health. At first he was so shy never even said good morning to me. But… after a while he started opening up I official became his confident for his relationship advice with his crazy girlfriends. Always laughing of course without Dr Norm finding out what we were up to. We were suppose to be working. Justin was tough but deep down he had a very soft spot for others and looked up to Dr Norm and was very proud of all his dad had accomplished. But of course never wanted to admit so we would talk it between us. I can tell you that this kid was amazing funny crazy at times but with a HUGE heart. 

Funny story we got free certificates from Buddies Coffee next to the office and all the certificates were suppose to be given to the patients only but….  Justin and me made a pack that we swore that Dr Norm would never find out that we had free coffee and empanadas everyday too 😊 when Dr Norm would ask we would always say that we had paid for it. Little white lie. 

Justin I will miss you allot even though I was no longer at work with him we always stayed in contact through InStagram he always had something to say about my Jesus post LOL. He did ask me allot of questions if there was really a heaven and of course I confirmed without no doubts that there was. Justin my friend my empanada partner in crime I will miss you and your funny comments to my post. But I know that one day I will see you again. Until then… SHOW off in heaven all your Skating tricks! YOU ROCK!!!

I can't believe that you now have this amazing, high flying boy that you will talk to, through his spirit.  And spirit he had.  I was really blessed ♡ to have had him, along with Stu, as an athlete, who was daring, and cat like, in his journey to try his hand at springboard diving. He quickly became aware of his body in space and enjoyed the experience of learning such a hard sport, until he landed wrong, lol.......it was a natural for him to move into skating. We so wanted to have him continue to challenge it, but as destiny has it, he chose to fly in a different medium and arena. We have so many great memories of the time we had on the pool deck, not only with him, but with his amazing parents who chatted and laughed along with us as he battled the forces, lol....I have had to really sit down,  as this news literally knocked me down.  This kid was cool, and all the athletes I have had the opportunity to work with, have a specialness....Justin was a special guy. I only hope that the grace of God will wrap his arms around him and his family and help ease the sorrow for the family.  I love you all♡ and will always hold the memories close. 

Justin was the best cousin someone could ask for. He was so funny and charismatic. Even though we only got to see each other twice a year, it would feel like absolutely no time has passed. Whether we were wreaking havoc on the golf course, drawing pictures in the sand, or just walking in the neighborhood as cousins do. There was never a dull moment. Justin will be very missed, and there are no words that could describe sadness in my heart. I am so sorry Uncle Norman and Aunt Donna. I am so sorry Brandon. I love you all, and I am here for you.

My heart is broken for Norman, Donna and Brandon. Justin will be missed. I recall when he was younger, Norman would often point out that Justin reminded him of me when I was a kid. He would say this with comedy as a loving prod to both Justin and I. Rest in peace Justin. 

My sincerest condolences Donna, Norman, & Brandon. I only knew Justin nine months, the first time we hung out we instantly clicked. That’s just something Justin was good at, making people feel comfortable and never judged. Anytime we’d hangout there was never a time we wouldn’t talk about how much he loved you and the cats of course. He was such a sweet and silly soul and I always admired how present he was. You raised an incredible son. The grief has been so confusing to deal with but I wish your family nothing but love, clarity, and peace. What I would give to see him walk through my doors wearing his pink Supreme hoodie on and that smile on his face but I do remember every time he’d leave my apartment he’d scream out, “see you soon!”, right before closing the door behind him…. Till we meet again Justin!! I love you.

Justin came to me at a time in my life where I truly needed someone he accepted me for me and he taught me how I want to be treated by people and how I want to treat people how I want to treat anyone in my life every moment I spent with him was fun filled with laughter and love he always spoke so highly of his mother father brother and friends but especially about Donna and how good her food is he loved and appreciated his friends and family and always expressed that and I’m so happy for the people that got to experience him he was truly one of kind and I will forever be thankful for him he was truly one of the best people I have ever met. - 

My heart goes out to Norman, Donna and Brandon as well as all the other family and friends who cared for Justin. Justin and I had a nice chat at Anne’s birthday party. He was becoming a lot more social. My favorite memory of Justin was at his nieces Bat Mitzvah when he put on a dazzling skateboard display for all of the guests 

My brother and him were close Justin helped my brother and his friend skate. Justin and I also had tiny conversations whenever I saw him. You were an amazing totally awesome guy. Fly High you’re missed by a lot of people man. Plus you were a really good skater.

My name is Michelle. My son, Jonah and I have known Justin for a few years. Jonah and Justin had such a SPECIAL bond. He was always such a bright light and a positive force. He was kind and encouraging and supportive. He recently started coaching my son with unity skate camp. He was an incredible coach.. a real natural. He reignited a spark in Jonah. He gave him back his passion. I will never, ever forget that. Tonite, my son stood up in front of everyone in Weston skatepark and spoke about what Justin meant to him. He spoke with such eloquence and grace. I know Justin was watching. You raised a FINE young man and I hope you take some comfort in knowing what he meant to us.

Norm, Donna and Brandon: I wish you all the best and hope that your sorrow and heaviness of heart eventually becomes light as a feather and joyous as you remember Justin through the great and funny moments of his life.  I remember when I was bringing the Bagels to the office one Saturday morning and the boys  let you know that my name was Bagel Man! I  thought it was quite funny when I heard them say that. Very creative and imaginative. Justin lives on forever in the hearts and minds of all the people who knew him. My sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies.
