

Kenneth Riggott was a modest man, quiet and observant in his ways. He was trustworthy and traditional in his approach to his life and in his relationships. He was tough-minded with the kind of “stick to it” attitude that earned the respect of all who knew him. He was also a man who was meticulous, carefully disciplined, and orderly in virtually everything he undertook. Realistic about life, he was always at the ready, prepared to take on responsibility.
He was the son of Claude and Emily Riggott. Kenneth grew up in Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
Kenneth was raised with twelve siblings, Robert,Lester, Elmer, Clifford, Donald, Carleton, Richard, Marilyn, Margie, Betty, Barbara, and Claire. Kenneth was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings experienced rivalries typical of a growing family, but they shared many life experiences over the years.
Empathic and loyal, Kenneth was committed to making his family happy.
Kenneth worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Kenneth was blessed with six children, five sons, Kenny, Keith, Kevin, Kurt and Rashid and one daughter, Karen. Another blessing for Kenneth was the gift of eleven grandchildren, Kenny, Christopher, Nicholas, Rachel, Dylan, Kyle, Cheyenne, Harrison, Hannah, Katelyn and Kursten.
He is survived by his loving wife Victoria, his children: Kenny, Karen, Keith, Kevin, Kurt and Rashid, his 11 grandchildren and many family and friends. Services will be held at Forest Lawn South Funeral Home on Monday, July 12, 2010. The Memorial gathering will be from 10:30-11am with an 11am Memorial Service. Kenneth will be laid to rest Into The Arms Of God.
Simply stated, Kenneth was a good and kind person, an honest and honorable man, who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Kenneth leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Kenneth Riggott.
