On Friday, July 23,2021 Kevin E Fitzpatrick, A loving Father of three children, passed away at age 66 peacefully in his sleep. Kevin was born in Bronx, New York and graduated from Ramapo Senior High School in Spring Valley, New York. He later attended GoldCoast Contracting School and graduated becoming a General Contractor in 1984. Kevin served as Building Inspector for the City of Plantation from mid 1980's until his retirement from the city in 2006. Then furthering his career as a building inspector in the private sector until 2011.
Kevin had a lifelong passion for collecting rare metals and, fishing always enjoying the oceans waters. He always said his best memories were on the boat with his family fishing and cruising the oceans waters in his boat. He also loved to visit his mountain property in North Carolina which was a lifelong goal he finally achieved in 2015 acquiring his dream property which he was in development of the Fitzpatrick estate. He loved having conversations most of the time about any and everything he's always a great storyteller, eager to share his knowledge and experiences with everyone he came in contact with.
He was a martial arts master, third degree black belt in Goju-Ryu he was a member of the United States' Karate Team fighting in Panama and Canada in karate tournaments representing the USA. Kevin worked very hard at obtaining a perfect credit score of 850 and was very proud of this accomplishment. Kevin got married in October of 1985 to his then wife, Lynne Fitzpatrick, mother of his children. Kevin is a grandfather of eight granddaughters which is his proudest moments in life becoming a grandfather and watching his family grow up and starting their own families.
Kevin was predeceased by his Father and Mother, Charles Fitzpatrick and Kathleen O'Connell Fitzpatrick. He is survived by his only son and best friend Brian Fitzpatrick, his two Daughters Nicole Fitzpatrick and Jennifer Fitzpatrick, and his Eight Grand Daughters Brianna, Tatiana, Jenessa, Arriana, Jenesis, Kali, Jeniya, Kairi; Two Brothers Tommy Fitzpatrick, Kenny Fitzpatrick and Sister Rita Fitzpatrick Fleming.
