

Leonard R. Courville, age 91 of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away at his home on Friday, March 25, 2022. Born in Troy Michigan on January 3, 1931, Leonard was the son of Leonard and Lillian (Endrees) Courville. Len is survived by siblings’ sisters Lorraine, Elaine, and Ruth and her husband Steve Makish. Len is predeceased by brothers Richard and Art, and his daughter, Donna Courville Beaulieu. Len leaves many nieces and nephews scattered all over the United States.
Leonard leaves his daughter Julie Courville Dandreo and her husband Donato III and their children. Donato J Dandreo IV, wife Natasha and grandchildren D.J, and Cam. Gina Dandreo, Garrett and Mallory Dandreo, and Angela Dandreo.
Leonard leaves his beloved daughter Angel and Mike Kelly and their children Austin, Jaden, and Landon.
Len grew up in Michigan where he was a mason and general contractor with his brother Richard for many years. In 1979 Len pulled up roots, moved to Florida, and started a handyman business where he did any type of project until finally retiring at the age of eighty-seven.
Len loved to collect tools, art, antiques, and flea market treasures. Len never saw an item that should be discarded building a vast collection of old stuff.
Len loved spending time with his family and always enjoyed life’s simple moments.
Len was a polite, quite spoken old-fashioned gentlemen always surrounding himself with family, kids and often traveling to visit all around the country.
In a remarkable age of hi tech, Len never installed cable TV or the internet, instead relying on rabbit ears and newspapers and keeping life simple.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 1:00 - 2:00 at the Kraeer - Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale. Len's funeral service will commence at 2:00 immediately upon the conclusion of visitation. Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Rolling Oaks Cemetery & Cremation Garden, 2200 SW Del Rio Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953
