

Regueiro Regueiro, Lucille Trombley passed away peacefully at home on the morning of January 12, 2012. She was 91. She enjoyed a full life, the center of which was her family of 7 children, 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Affectionately known as Mama Lu, she has left a legacy of love and the importance of family. Caring mother to Phyllis Smith, Priscilla (Ron) Kovack, Jim (Mary) Regueiro, Ann Regueiro, Barbara (Chuck) Wipplinger, Lisa (Scott) Goldberg, & Anita (Marc) Shawver. Adoring grandmother to Robert Sinclair, John Mariner, Julie (John) Pilch, Laurie (Chris) McCarthy, Stacie (Fred) Scantland, Brian Kovack, Ra Regueiro, Craig (Asia) Citro, Ryan & Kevin Wipplinger, Samantha & Steven Goldberg, Caitlin, Jenna, Amanda, &Michael Shawver. Cherished great grandmother to Madeline & Michael Pilch, Collin & Connor McCarthy, Josh, Jordan, Jacob, & Anna Salter, RJ Regueiro, & Sophie Citro. Lucille was pre-deceased by her grandson Matthew Shawver and her husband of 59 years, Ramon Regueiro. Lucille and Ramon moved to South Florida in 1971 from Akron, Ohio. She worked in the Cardiology department of Broward General, North Broward, and Holy Cross Hospitals. After retiring in 1988, she enjoyed an active life of golf, bowling, bingo, jigsaw puzzles and trivia games. She loved the ocean in the East, the mountains in the West, and a clear night with a full moon. She will be dearly missed, but her devotion to family, unconditional love, and strong Christian values which influenced us while she was here, will continue to guide us in her death. A private memorial mass will be celebrated January 28, 2012 at the Parish of Saints Francis and Clare. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse of Broward, www.lhob.org or Lois L.
