Dearest Marion….how lucky I was to call you friend…. I cannot believe it has been eight years since the horrible call from Royal Caribbean that you were not coming back from Barcelona to your life here with us….you are at rest now, and we have your beautiful art through which to remember you and to enjoy the beauty that you brought in this short life…

With this notice in my email today,the busiest time of the year near it's end, I was saddened but glad to be reminded of someone as yourself. Though no longer here in body you'll remain,forever still in my heart, part of me, a constant reminder of a time I so very much miss. You know how often I think of you and how deeply your missed. When I laugh I laugh for the joys we shared but for to short a time.

Dear Dear Marion,
When I met you on the evening of November 11th on our ship to say goodbye, I thought that we would be able to continue our conversation about the art and life and we would see each other soon in San Miguel de Allende. Later when in December I was in Cozumel for one day, I did not know that it would not be possible, but I took an image there that I dedicated to you. I hoped you will like it... Thank you for everything and  Rest In Peace.

"Call me back later, I can't talk right now but I'll fill you in." Were the last words you said to me. I will never forget how you inspired me with your wisdom; a way of looking at situations that were so different that you once asked me, "Do you really think I'm that funny?" Over my stay in St Miguel, you encouraged me to paint, write and delve into a creativity that had been hidden deep inside."You never know what's in there." you said; I did... We laughed till we cried that year, cried till we laughed and we told one another how much we cared over so much fun, you remained carved in the very soul of my work since I embarked on my own career. You' ll forever be in my heart, part of the creative process, that you help seed, nurtured, help grow. I'll always love the kind of clear soul energy you so willingly gave this planet through your art and your presence....
