Marie Claire Byron, age 93, of Miramar, Florida passed away on April 7th, 2019. She was born in Port-Au-Prince Haiti on September 4th, 1925 to parents Marie Antoinette and Aubert Byron.

Marie Claire, also known as Tante Quequette or Man Quequette, had a passion for reading her Bible and planting flowers.

She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline and her two Grandsons Claudel and Richard; her great Grand children Rachelle, Eric, Sofia, Ashley and Christian St.Surin; her sisters Odette, Yvonne and Marie-Ange; her Brother Ernst Manigat; and her nieces Marie Lourdes Calonge, Nicole Baptiste.

Funeral service will be held at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens South located at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, April 20th at 11 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 pm. We will then proceed outside to her committal service in the mausoleum.

Everyone is invited by the family to return inside for a reception at 2:30 pm. All of the above will take place at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens South located at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Davie, Florida 33317.

Marie will be dearly missed.
