Greatest best friend I could have asked for

Today is his last day at our location. I will never forget all the things he taught me and the words of wisdom he shared.

Mark your heart was way bigger than that bright smile of yours! I met you at the gym and little did I know we would become such good friends. We have shared a lot of laughs, cries and jokes throughout the years. The late night talks were the best (you always listened with such a pure heart). I remember always wanting to one up each other with both old and new songs that matched the madness in our lives at the time. You helped my daughter and I through some pretty hard times and we will be forever grateful to you. Kimi will miss her Uncle Mark and I will miss my best friend. Your gentle spirit  will be remembered with lots of love. I am wishing your family peace and strength during this difficult time.

Gone but never be forgotten.  
Just like Batmans' Bat-light signal that reaches unmeasurable heights so will your light shine deep within our hearts.
Loved you from the day you were born Mark; and we will always love you.

I remember when you mobed in across the street. I was 11yrs old, and you were the same age as me.! You taught me the wonderful sport of hockey, the meaning of friendship, and most important of all, the importance of family. Growing up with you, and that beaming smile was something so very special to me. One of my fondest memories is when we were grounded, one of us would always be at the bedroom window, discussing the Stanley Cup playoffs, or sharing our new cards in our baseball card collection. Checking our becketts, for price of cards. We never skipped a beat, even in the down time. Your soul brought mine so much light and love. Teaching your brothers all the things, and you always encouraging them and me to be the best we could. And going fishing out in the big blue miles from shore, big waves, laughter, and curiosity always ruled our lives then. When we got older, that curiosity remained. The best years of my life, I spent with you Mark... Weather it was playing in the street, moving the goals out of the way of cars, or pretending we were bmx bikers jumping anything we could find, adventures in the woods, and sharing the joy and laughter with all that were around. You will always be that bright light in my life showing me the way home. My deepest sympathy to all those who had the opportunity to call you friend, brother, son, and dad. Your memory will live on in all our hearts... I love you Mark, thank you for all you gave to those of us that were fortunate to have you in our lives. Rest in peace my dearest friend.❤

Batz aka Mark you are going to be missed by so many of your coworkers from Best Buy!! When we got the news we didn’t wanna believe it. I’m going to miss your crazy talks in the morning before we started our shift. I hope you are at peace now !! Rest in peace mark you will be missed !!

This was devastating to hear. We attended the police academy together when we were just young kids.  He always brought positivity with him anytime he entered a room. We lost touch shortly after but his positivity was never forgotten.  Rest in Peace my brother. Gone was to soon.

To the Abrahams Family, I pray for strength during these hard times.  I will always remember  Mark’s baby face and his great big smile.  I had the privilege to work with Mark and have his protection when ever I served a search warrant.  Mark was a special person and will truly be missed. May he rest in Peace.     Linda Geronimo

I knew Mark when he was a police officer with Lauderhill. He was a member of my gym. I trained him for his fight at the HardRock when the police took on the fire department. 

Mark was one of the happiest and kindest souls I had ever known. I hadn’t seen him in several years and just got back to South Florida hoping to link up with him when I heard the news. 

Rest in peace mighty mouse. The memories we shared will live forever. You were a good man. My heart and Prayers go out to his family. You will be missed!!!!!!

This is a favorite photo of Mark with Addilyn. I see the pure joy Mark had for her. There are so many people who will truly miss Mark.
He had a wonderfully kind heart and he loved his daughter. All I see when I look at this photo is joy silliness and true love.
