Marlene Washington at 73, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 21, 2023 in Tamarac, Florida. Marlene was born to Gladstone and Lois Palmer in Kingston, Jamaica on September 4, 1949. She moved to America February 14, 1969. Marlene met and married Altimont Anderson. They had three children. Marlene was an answering service operator before starting her own business as a home childcare provider.
Marlene had several interest including crocheting, knitting, painting, pottery and writing religious motivational letters. She was truly an artist in many ways. Marlene leaves behind her three children Ronald,Keisha and Malika. Her grand daughter Nina and her son-in-law Julian. She is survived by her sisters Carol, Marjorie,Marcia and her brother Roland.
She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Her family and friends will forever remember her as a prayer warrior and kindhearted woman who saw the best in people. Safe in the arms of the Jesus but forever in our hearts.
