Marta Ursula Curci

Marta was born in Chiclayo, Peru to Irma Maria Pais Torres and Jose Cabero San Miguel on November 9, 1942. She went to school locally in Chiclayo as a child and attended Brown University in Peru obtaining her degree as a Bilingual Secretary. She came to the United States, and shortly after met and married Roger Antonio Curci on February 28, 1970, in Hollywood, FL.

She was a loving and helping wife to her husband where they established various Italian restaurants. Their first called Ralphie’s in Miramar, FL. Then followed by Verdi’s in Delray Bch, FL and then La Vela in in Boynton Bch, FL.

Her most treasured and dedicated position in life was motherhood. She honored her role with love and perseverance. This was her joy in life. Mother to her sons Raffaele Jose, Roger Antonio Jr., and her lovely daughter Marta Ursula.

Marta is preceded in death by her husband Roger A. Curci, Sr. and her daughter Marta U. Curci, who greeted her in Heaven.

Marta is survived by her two sons Raffaele Curci and Roger Curci, Jr., her five grandchildren Julianne Curci, Ryan Curci, Jerrod Curci, Jazmin Maten, and Tyler Gomez.

A visitation will be held on February 8, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 2401 Southwest 64th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317.

The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A committal service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2401 Davie Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
