Maximino Marrero was born on July 22, 1956 in Lares, Puerto Rico to parents Maximino and Blanca Marrero and came to the United States as an infant. He was 63 years old when God called him home on May 30, 2020.
He graduated from McArthur High School in 1974. In 1974, Max accepted a position as a stockman at Publix, while attending college. His Publix career extended 20 years advancing him to the position as Store Manager. In 1991, Max resigned from Publix and transitioned into entrepreneurship creating his business All County Textures. This decision was based on Max wanting to spend more time with his wife and sons and to attend church on Sundays. He was a man of faith and had a personal relationship with God and always reminded us that God has a plan.
Max loved his family more than anything. If you gave him a minute, he would gladly tell you about his sons and 5 grandchildren.
Max was a sports enthusiast, his favorite teams being the Miami Hurricanes and Baltimore Orioles. His love for sports led him to coaching baseball which he did at Pasadena Lakes Optimist, Florida Bible Christian School and West Pembroke Pines Optimist.
He Max is survived by his wife of 40 years Anna; his 3 sons Matthew (Erin), Christopher (Heather) Anthony (Stephanie), his 5 grandchildren Payton, Matthew, Noell, Elijah & Hailey; his Mother Blanca, his brother Luis (Kay), sister in law Sharon Williamson (Phil), his nieces Melissa, Melinda, Jennifer, Jessica and nephew Phillip. He is preceded in death by his father Maximino.
Max made an impact on many lives and will truly be missed by all.
